- ABC 10News spoke with experts who say that real-time shark trackers show they are using the beach in Del Mar as a nursery for their pups. On the day of the shark attack on Sunday, there were four tagged juvenile white sharks off the shore.
Damn juvenile sharks! I bet his father is nowhere to be found!
"You're less likely to be attacked here than at other beaches" the "expert" tells us just after an attack at that beach. Then he says "they realize we are not food". Hmm, Hanabal Lecture might disagree as well as most sharks. We are food.

These shark researcher’s love camera time! And they will say anything to increase their camera time.
ikr dorsnt make sense at all..... why would the victim's dna still be in the water at detectable levels? and if it is... what's the point?
Long Beach State’s C-Lowe once again dropping the shark knowledge. I met him once in Redondo when that one guy got bitten by a GW off Manhattan Beach about ten years ago.
C-Lowe is a pompous tool.
He doesn't give all the facts, just the narrative agendas he and other so-called experts want to push.
Why would they not use this tracking technology to warn beachgoers before they enter the water? Seems like a missed opportunity to keep people aware and prevent attacks.
Maybe the Juvenile shark was just a rebellious teen, like we have rebellious teens as humans.
Maybe dad wasn't in the home or mom didn't raise him right lol
Why anyone, (from scientists to homemakers), still ask why sharks bite humans is like asking why the Sun comes up! Sharks bite humans because you are there, (in the water, in their home). You’d be lucky if a bite is only exploratory, if a shark is hungry and if they are old, sick, injured, they predate on anything floating their way, like humans. To be afraid of the water isn’t a good thing, (unless ya can’t swim), just be smart. Near dawn and dusk is when sharks come closer to shore, as do the fish, etc., they are after. Go in the water at least an 1 hour after dawn, be out 1 hour before dusk, never swim at night, ever. On the Gulf coast, clear water makes it easy to spot dark sea creatures, if the water isn’t clear, wait until it clears up. Doing these simple things greatly lessens the chances of a shark encounter. Hammerheads eat Rays, not you, Whites eat all that swims incl., dolphins and other Whites. if you spot dolphins a shark may be after one and or, if fisherman are shore angling for shark, in both cases stay on the beach.
