That’s a juvenile great white. I’ve surfed beside them many times in Manhattan beach. I told the lifeguards once and they casually said “they’ve been here all summer” as hundreds of tourists swam among us. A shark that size wants a small fish not a 6’ surfboard. They’re beautiful up close.
I was the gentlemen in the yellow Cap. I did not have googles on and yes I did see him/her at the very last second. I stayed in for another 30 min Bodysurfing.
Saw a few of them out there while surfing today. Pretty close, about 10ft away, probably a foot beneath the surface. They just slowly cruise by. Little guys 5, 6 footers
Hey ! Actually as the sharks grow they then move on to other areas. Some sharks go to Hawaii and some stay on the California coast (Look up the “bloody triangle” that’s where the big guys are up in NorCal) :) and some travel back and forth between Hawaii and Cali :)
Lies! Sharks can see plenty well. They live in the ocean! Also, about white pointers not wanting to predate people. Go down to Australia and South Africa and ask them if white pointers don't like people.

The sharkies are there for the bat rays and not humans :))) just ignore them. We can co-exist :)
