@@deadmemegamming hey by the way. I subscribed to your channel because of this. I'm going to watch your other videos on Avorion. Would you be interested in doing more content on Avorion? Maybe a teachable play along series?
you forgot to put the most important information in this video which is which subsystems affect trading profit which blocks increase the distance/or speed of the trade does the ship need to be bigger or smaller so many questions you covered only the basic obvious stuff...
If you get ambushed, do you jump in to the ship and help it escape? I am just trying to get a feel for how significant the ambush risk is and whether the trade ship could escape on its own.
This is what my experience is so far if the ship is well armed for the area it will survive. If I jump to the ship and can escape if they are out gunned and get it working again faster.
How did you get the smaller ship designs (the smaller ones, that you use in the early game )? If you got them steam workshop, how do you find the ones that you need and how do you get them exactly? Thanks
There are subsystems that can make your hold larger, also you can just go into the build menu and add more cargo hold. Check your ship for frame work and just convert it. I do have a video that shows this in the play list
it should give more options for higher net profits per flight. If you make 10% on 1 item, then your net profit depends on the price of that good. So having more cargo space means more (cheaper) goods can be used to trade with to ensure you can use the maximum budget available
What if I think your trade method sucks, and if you have a trade item installed in your ship you can find areas where you can both buy and sell without moving your ship ideally from a blue or purple area you procure, then in a yellow or red area you sell in, and that is how I had my ship churn out 5 million a run, about 20 to 30 minutes to but and about 10 to sell. Is that better or worse than you?
I have never seen a trade ship getting faction rep, but I have seen trade stations net you faction improvements. If you trade station trades with one faction another my become upset. Same if you use the procure button to buy things with two waring factions near by.
Ohh came back and see what trading now is: mini game mission
Dude you're legendary. I had no idea how to do this but your video is so straight forward. Thanks again 💯
glad it's helpful.

@@deadmemegamming Thanks DMG. I am a pretty slow/conservative player, so I like to be prepared. :)
so its been 8 months , what have you learned? is this profitable? or should i put my time effort and money to factories?

Do the merchant captains only trade with trade posts and not other industries? Thanks :)
They will sell to factories and trading posts, they try to get the best price.
Do I get more money if the cargo hold of my spaceship is bigger?

Do the trade missions also improve the reputation with the respective factions?
