IN DEPTH Detail of REGEN - 3.0 Duramax Diesel - exhaust regeneration

I recorded a full regen in my truck and discussed the temperatures and what i noticed during this process. In short, Regen is for regeneration where the exhaust collects diesel soot particles and then performs a full burn to rid them from the exhaust. This will take place approximately once per full tank of fuel.
