Oscar Isaac is a rare bird--an actor who actually is intelligent, insightful, and interesting in an interview. Most actors, even great ones, are a real bore. This guy has substance. I wish him well and look forward to seeing this film.

It was criminal that this didn't get more nominations (it only got cinematography and sound mixing). Should have at least gotten nominated for picture, director, screenplay, and one for Oscar Isaac bare minimum.

He doesn't need an Oscar --- he is Oscar.

Oscar Isaac is the only man alive who could have played Llewyn Davis. It truly is one of my favorite films ever created, and I can’t thank the Coen Brothers and Oscar enough for their vision and execution with this one.

People have said that this movie was depressing. I honestly thought the end was very like I don't know the word. I think it's Ike the end of breaking bad

Sweet--I like this, because I liked the movie. And Oscar Isaac is quite handsome without the beard (which I also liked,BTW.)

"If anybody came to me, and said we want to make a film about a folk singer . . ." Exactly so. 2008. 'THE GHOST OF NEIL DIAMOND' : a dark comedy about a fading folk legend, who's homeless, who goes through constant rejections, including his partner, who finds himself completely alone, just like Llewyn, but it's all different because it's set in the Far East, where the only option left is to impersonate - though it gnaws his soul - the one and only Neil Diamond. Reprise edition 2010. But must see this Llewyn. Sounds such a terrific movie and it's such an amazing and wonderful coincidence.

Saw this movie yesterday, brilliant. I guess I expected him to be a nicer guy but most Coen Brothers characters are flawed. Wasn't a real bad guy but had some serious birth control and responsibility issues.
