  • Hello! We decided to drive up to Gunma and stayed at Manza onsen. I thought it would be fun to document this in my Traveler's Notebook. I also included some extra video clips from the trip near the end of the video.

Beautiful video, Mits! I feel you about the hot springs. I've only done hot springs a handful of times in the 7.5 years that I have been here. Even then, they were just man made hot springs, and not natural hot springs. I recently moved to a new location in Japan, so maybe I can try it out sometime in the future.

It’s 4am in London and I am not feeling too well and so having trouble sleeping. So what do I do? I search out videos from Mits because I know they will help me smile and relax. Thank you for another lovely video. Made me think I should try more staycations of my own. I’ve not travelled in over 5 years (due to health challenges) but your video encouraged and inspired me to at least think about getting out more. I love your journaling style and how your layer and use tip-ins. Varsha 🫶🏽🙌🏾🙏🏽💖

Yes to staycaytions! It does not have to be far either - perhaps a shop that you haven't visited in a while or a favorite place to sit and people watch ;) I hope you were able to get a good night's rest.. Not being able to sleep can be so tough :((

@@MyLifeMits thank you for your kindness Mits. I live with MS and am now peri-menopausal so sleepy is a luxurious delicacy I rarely get to experience, but I am recovering better than expected from a new bout of gastrititus - side effects of having to take eye drops/antibiotics for a slight eye infection!! Woke several times in the night but allowed myself to let go and go back to sleep. Having anxiety as a side affect can interfere with so much including getting out and falling back asleep when waking in the night. I try to focus on my breathing or what I was dreaming if it was a good dream. ☺️🙏🏽
