So nice to see you back, Mits. Sorry to hear that you haven't been well. I pray you are best very soon. Always nice hearing about life in Japan. It's always inspiring to see your process and treats that you add to the pages. Take care. Hugs, Suzanne 💕🙏🏽
Lovely video Mits, thank you for taking the time 🥰 As for the sunburns, a very moisturizing cream before sleep will help, unless you can find cheap greek yogurt and apply it directly on the arms, leave it through the day and wash it off before bed (which is best right off the burn within the first day or two). Feel better soon! Lovely seeing this new video and spreads 🙏🏻 🥰
Wow what a great tip! Too bad greek yogurt here is not readily available where I am...plus my son loves it so I imagine him eating it before it gets to my arms haha Thank you for sharing!
@@MyLifeMits hehe, eating it was always a big temptation for me too as a child😅😅 and I suspected it might be expensive. A very moisturizing body cream will do just fine (I used Bepanthol) and surely there are many wonderful Japanese brands there ☺️
OMG yay!!!! I hope it goes well - I am still learning so much with sock knitting, but it will get easier and easier and now I much prefer my hand knit socks over my regular store bought socks :)) Happy creating!
Hi Mits I felt sad to hear you were not feeling well but really appreciated a lovely video and enjoyed hearing your tone change a little as you talked about the Utsubo and I also loved hearing you repeated said the word Utsubo 🥰. Your journals are so beautiful and inspiring and I wanted to thank you for your generosity in sharing them and your process and I do also enjoy the little clips of Japan you include and your stories about life in Japan. Sending you some extra healing thoughts and energy and I hope you feel much better soon. If you have some Aloe Vera plants at home or accessible to you I can highly recommend splitting the leaves and using the gel on your arms. I am Indian and much darker than you but had a similar sunburn from walking in peak sun in London (thought it was impossible as it is not usually that hot here). I tried so many lotions and gels (including store bought Aloe Vera after Sun gel…. None worked!! As a last resort I decided to be smart and use what was right in front of me all along and what Mother Nature gifted me for this purpose and it worked!!! Oh the relief!!! The stinging sensation from even just a breeze is so painful. Be well my friend and sending you generous amounts of kindness. Varsha❤️🩹🥰🙏🏽🫶🏽
@@MyLifeMits I highly recommend it. And they multiply quite quickly. In U.K. I feed mine tomato feed during March-April - it will probably be different for you in Japan but that helps to keep the plant health. I have to confess I have a few I have not watered in over a year (just trying to focus on watering myself) and they are still fine - quite hardy plants. Really hope your arms feel less sensitive very soon. ❤️🩹🫶🏽
Hi Mits, thank you as always for your calming journal videos. As a side note, I have not had a sore throat for year because I dip Q-tips in peroxide and clean my ears with them every few days and more often when I am around people or when I feel like I may be getting sick. This practice has helped me and my family. I hope it can help you as well. Have a wonderful day!
Get well soon Mits! I am sorry you have not been well. I would love to join the summer sock camp but I’m too intimidated to make socks. I haven’t used 5 needles before. I would love to make some knitted socks though.
Ohhhhh you should try. There are so many tutorials available online. I have not used DPNs for socks either, I use the short 9 inch circulars or standard circulars :) Start with DK weight (8ply?) yarn as they knit up a lot quicker. Do you know Stephen West? He has a free DK weight yarn sock pattern out. Kay from The Crazy Sock Lady also has a free DK weight sock pattern available too :)
Im sorry your not feeling well. I m not participationg in that sock along but I am thinking about joining the westknits Mystery sockalong that starts soon.
I saw that! I am excited to see what everyone creates. ❤️ Did you participate in last year's? (Also, I have a letter waiting to be sent out, just need your address - please check your email) 😉
Enjoyed. Thx! I so appreciate you & your relaxing creative vids…!💕 I wd like to ask where your washi store & cut tool is from & your sheets of translucent heart & star stickers? I am in the states, so hope I will be able to buy online :) thx again,be well soon! 💜Terry York in Texas
Thank you! The translucent heart and star stickers were from a 100yen (dollar store) here in Tokyo - Do you have a Daiso? Perhaps you can find some there? The washi tool is Kanmido Maco ( I did a brief google search and see that Jetpens has it) Thank you for watching!
Ahh getting paper from school, here its all electronic here,😢😢😢 although anything governmental are in paper and no way i want them in my journal 😂😂, i always pick up the monthly booklet with supermarket promotions and it keeps me occupied
That is great that it is electronic. I do not like the amount of paper that is wasted when it could have been sent electronically. Also, my son likes to shove his papers into his bag soo the papers usually come to me crinkled and quite bent 😅 It is so lovely to 'see' you :))
i’m sorry you’re having trouble with your throat and voice! please take care of yourself. a few videos with only your hands doing the talking might be helpful as you suggested. 😊
We missed you too! So glad to hear you are feeling better, best wishes for continued healing and good health!
Sorry you’ve not been well Mits, I hope you get your energy back soon. I love that you are also not a fan of fussy cutting, me neither!
Your journal pages seem so random but I love them! everything just seems to work together!
So good to spend time with you Mits! Be well.
