i regifted my popcorn cup my last day to another solo Disney goer. The cups feel magical when you’re there but they have no purpose at home. It felt like I was spreading the magic 😊
As a solo traveler myself that is the nicest thing to do. I even one time gave some people the rest of my mochi when I was at Epcot, I had a few but couldn't finished the rest, so I asked around if anyone wanted the rest as I would have thrown out the package since I couldn't save them.
@@RvBnerd618 Remember back when you could sell or gift unused multi-day park tickets? They were even talking about chipping the drink cups so people couldn't share them around...
I bought blanket at Animal Kingdom as my main souvenir last time. It’s not Disney branded, but it was my first time to Animal Kingdom so I wanted to get something from there. They have them all over-so I was able to find the exact color pattern I wanted. I have it next to my couch and use it every time I want to take a nap.
I personally LOVE memory maker because it motivates us all (including my parents who don't like photos of themselves) to get a bunch of pictures made! We buy it discounted ahead of our trip, and it's great to not have to stress over buying photos and choosing which ones we like, etc. I got all my ride photos so easily by just scanning my magicband after rides. I really think it's worth the money if you use it!
As someone who doesn’t like pictures of themselves I strongly agree with this. Plus the cutesy interactive photos make it about being fun and silly. Not trying to be photogenic. So that also helps :)
I'm so excited because I just got my vacation package and got the memory maker! It's just my daughter and I and I cannot wait to have all kinds of photos.
@@bediliarodriguez9632 yall are going to have so much fun! My sis and I paid for us and our parents to go for my mom's birthday, and we got so many great photos with memory maker! Now I have a bunch of photos with her. She's always the one taking the photo and never in them.
Does anyone remember the little masquerade masks they gave kids going around the world showcase in the ‘00s? First you got to color it in, and then at each stop around the world they stamped the handle or added something else special to the mask. Super cute memory, I had a blast with mine!
The lightsaber experience was so amazing! We made sure to make our reservations after the park technically closed so we were able to take great photos in Galaxy's Edge without other people nearby! And Genie + and Lightning Lane helped us ride ROTR twice and Smugglers Run three times! Great day at Hollywood Studios. Also, Memory Maker was a great purchase as well. We got a ton of great photos at all of the parks, and the magic shot photos were especially cool! Buying this helped us to enjoy our trip and not worry about taking a bunch of photos. PS - dinner at Space 220 exceeded our expectations! The service and food were excellent, and we plan to dine again during our next trip!
Awwww! The personalized ornament is something that my husband and I would definitely want! I LOVE the idea of customized Droid! Thank you for introducing Genie Plus to us. That is something we would also consider. Love the Magic Shots that you described with the Memory Maker! I also appreciate that you shared some info about the backstage tour. LOVED all the valuable info. Thank you , and have a magical week!💖💖
I have only ever been to Disney world once. And that was for the 25th anniversary. I am going to go back this yeah for the 50th anniversary pretty excited.
i found out last time i went to HS that theres a sneaky little popcorn tip. If you have the refill bucket during COVID, they won't take the bucket to fill it. they're gonna hand you a large and a small container which fills the bucket pretty much perfectly. but, if you go to the first cart you come to in HS (or any of them that sell those red and white closed boxes instead of the open blue cartons) they'll give you one of those for the same $2 but it actually fills the bucket all the way up AND another half. so, if you managed to find one of the carts like that, its like a bucket and a half worth of popcorn for $2
Also Coronado resort tower has some rooms with views of Epcot and Hollywood! You can see the Epcot fireworks! It’s amazing and a beautiful view of the sunrise!
AJ is right about the mugs...Anytime I go to Disneyland or WDW, I buy a new reuseable mug, and they really go far after your vacation. Until the pandemic started, I was always bringing my mug to Starbucks, Peet's or any independent coffee place and they gave me a discount for using a reusable mug!
So about the light sabers. I'm not gonna lie, I went to a company that makes custom lightsabers. It set me back alot more money ($700) but everything is custome made and the brightness of the blade when shown side by side with Disney's was so bright, it looks like the disney saber is off. Also the smooth swing is much better (the sound the blade makes when you swing the blade) I'm so excited to bring this beauty. I will say the downside, disney sabers you make yourself. The one I got is being professionally hand crafted piece by piece, and that takes about 12-15 weeks. I got mine in August, and I got a email saying it should arrive mid December. Oh and I'm 1000000% making a R2 unit droid
@@kamrynmarshall I went with saberforge because they had the most in customization options. Alot of places like sabertrio were completely sold out of everything, and places like vaders vault and genesis sabers are wayyy too expensive. Also sold out anyway.

I went to Disneyland California in 2019, i got a matchbox coach bus with with disney characters and a sign labled “DISNEY PARKS 2019”. I also got a mug and a magnet also labled “DISNEY PARKS 2019”.

We will be sraying at Animal Kingdom Jambo House for the first time in May. Pop Century has been our hone away from home for years. This will be our first stay in a deluxe resort.
Hello my friend! I am so happy to have caught this video with all the AWESOME info including the souvenirs I definitely want to get one of the super cute popcorn popcorn buckets!💖💖
Yes, any park anytime. There are carts in Disney Springs you can take it to also. I would suggest bringing a carabiner to clip it to a bag (or stroller if you have one) so you don’t carry it everyday.
If you are a Star Wars fan then the Savis Workshop experience is a must. I mean - Youre own lightsaber! Whenever its back Dolphins in Deepth is a nice experience to if you like Dolphins. J.
Hey Aj as someone whose going to Disney next April, I’ve got a couple of questions if you don’t mind answering them that would be great, I’m a huge fan of all the anniversary food and merch will they still be as available and for sale for ALL of the 18 month celebration? And do we have any sort of news as to when proper shows such as fantasmic will return?
Can you bring a Disney refillable mug from a past trip back and use it to get free soft drinks at your hotel or do you have to buy a new mug on your trip?
You have to buy a new mug. AJ mentioned they have RFID chips in them to tell the hotel you can get free refills and they are deactivated at the end of your trip.
From some I have talked to that have had DAS since genie +, they say it is not worth it to get genie + if you have DAS. That said, I would recommend contacting Disney about this directly as DAS seems to vary in different senerios and is case by case. Cast members will help you get what is best for your situation.
You bet! A few years back, my daughter was celebrating her graduation and I bought a white EPCOT hoodie to have the CastMembers for each country sign (in their mother tongue) congratulating her on her studies and future. The CMs LOVED this and doing something different that the usual KidCot activities but over the course of 11 countries, MANY adults were also participating in the activities offered.
