@AsagisLifeNoBSJapan having previously worked in a fast-food establishment (over four years), I think I have a very clear picture of just how rude people can be... *sigh*
I think this is a true observation. I’m always appreciative to service workers because they help me make my days better by driving me, serving me food, suggesting things bo buy that are useful to me, give me advice, take care of me when I’m sick and a whole lot more. Of course I’m grateful for all of that big and small. I’m a service worker too in my job as it-consultant. In fact most of us serve other people or companies that also are made up of people 😊. It’s just a matter of education or skill in the job you perform. The payoff for the customers is the same. Making life better for them! All levels of service work count to me. So I’m thankful to the providers of service. I think this is true no matter the country
Politeness is key! My Grandmother’s & Mother instilled in me the Golden Rule philosophy. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! Politeness transcends Yin & Yang!!
I may not be rich financially, but I always try to choose the path of empathy. Thank you for the reassuring words - kindness towards all, is a trait I seek in a future partner as well.
Experienced working food service in my early college years, so I never disrespect cashiers, servers, hosts/hostesses, etc. In general, I never understood people who disrespect strangers without knowing anything about them.
I think it is true that you can generally tell if someone is a good person based on how they treat service workers. If someone is making a service workers job difficult or even yelling at them, it is generally a sign of them having no respect to people who are in their view "below" them. You don't want such people as your friends or partners.
I'd say treating service workers like robots also count (only giving orders and completely ignoring them otherwise like they're just automatons working off keywords), because that's got some alarmingly entitled vibes. Rude and entitled are both big nopes.
Honestly, especially if you’ve ever had a job in the service industry, you know that it is much appreciated when people behave with grace. So many people are very mean spirited to workers because, like you said, “they paid for it”. Shameful behavior on their part.
Thanks for saying this🙏🏻 I’ve worked in the service industry before so I would never be rude to anyone in the service industry, but thanks for the tip😊
My first Japanese "friend" in Japan turned out to be a narcissistic woman who treated people badly and, shortly after, me as well. She would actually scold me for being "too polite" to the wait staff. I stopped taking time to invite her out years ago and she's never invited me anywhere since.
Those women are waving red flags like they're spelling out "AYO RUN THE OTHER WAY STAT" in flag semaphore. If you see that write them off, you do NOT deserve the hell that is a Nice Girl anymore than normal women don't deserve Nice Guys. (note the capitals, because those titles are sarcastic and neither of them is actually nice.)
I still find it surprising that things like treating customer service well are something so highlighted in Eastern countries and the United States. Here In Latam, treating anyone well is common sense.
I just started following you and you Rock. 🎉❤🥇💪💯🥳💞💗❤️🥰Thank you very much for your advice. Any dating apps you recommend. I am in Los Angeles Kalifornia.
Imo, it’s not only about my partners but I do that to people I want to know, even as a friend. And not only towards customer service people but to the others in general. Now, how did I conquer my Japanese gf? I did a lot of things for her that no one did in her entire life. I always made her feel as my most important person. I’m Always kind, always present and always helpful to anything. What kind of things no one did for her that I did? Little things like recording songs written by myself in Japanese and present her in a CD with a hand made art cover. I also made some hand made cakes btw today I promised her a Carrot Cake. I will make it in the afternoon while she is working. I do massages all the time she says she has katakori, I help her with money even she saying many times she doesn’t want it but I know when she needs because she is a single mother, and many other things. So imo being polite is a must to be a good person, but to conquer a girl, just make her feel like the most import person in your life.
I'm from the UK... And we never treat service people in a bad way... What's your advice in meeting Japanese women in the UK? Is there anywhere they hang out?.. Thanks for your videos 😊😊
well, while on one hand you may not be rude or arrogant, on the other - you may not be very profuse with outward expressions of gratitude either - i wonder how that will be viewed...

Good to know as I already treat customer service employees well even on bad days
Love it!

I feel that's true for most countries and all genders. How people treat people they don't have to be nice to, tells you a lot about them.
I may not be rich financially, but I always try to choose the path of empathy. Thank you for the reassuring words - kindness towards all, is a trait I seek in a future partner as well.
Right on 😀

That's exactly how it should be.
I appreciate your channel ❤

I appreciate your content Asagi very much informative :-)
This is true.

Great advice
Totally

I wish that were true here in the US. Here the women gravitate towards the guys that are rude and just downright mean to everyone around them.
Those women are waving red flags like they're spelling out "AYO RUN THE OTHER WAY STAT" in flag semaphore. If you see that write them off, you do NOT deserve the hell that is a Nice Girl anymore than normal women don't deserve Nice Guys. Hey asagi i really appreciate you doing this for me 😏

This is not just Japan. It's everywhere. If I see my date talking down to retail staff I'm leaving on the spot.
What is the background music used for this video? It sounds like a remix.
Right, still you cried for the bad boy before Justin
Arigato, any advice you could share, would be appreciated, the wonderful japanese woman I am talking to is very intelligent.....
"Treat others how you want to be treated"
👌😁😷
It should be common sense but it's not
👀😳🤔🤷♂️🤦♂️
I’m paranoid daily I’ll screw it up. I want to ask more about her, but I’m worried about seeming too nosy
Imo, it’s not only about my partners but I do that to people I want to know, even as a friend. And not only towards customer service people but to the others in general.

so the same as everywhere in the world. The rude, inconsiderate people are the minority.

Don't reveal our secret! Now we must be sceptical of them being nice.😅
Someone who is nice to you, but not nice to the server, is not a nice person.
Ah, so if se aren't grateful to Asagi-san, she'd tell our dates "Hey, that guy's a total a-hole. I'd ghost his arse if I were you 💯%." Got it!

You showed Brad Pitt while talking about politeness. Brad Pitt cheated on 2 wives.
Basically manners and being a gent go a long way. Shame that is a rarity in the west.
👍
How big tipping .
Is there "white fever" in Japan?
That’s crazy that you have to remind a man to be courteous
Like so dont be a Karen? that seems simple enough to do, thanks wing woman Asagi.
Wrong! Japanese women only date chads!!!
