    I'm watching this video while walking around one of the worst neighborhoods in The US; North Philadelphia...a cop thought it was funny that I was watching one of your videos at 4:00am and it was on the hockey part and we ended up taking hockey for a bit...it 😣😣was very surreal... even he mentioned it cause North Philly is mostly Ricans( i'm one); so hockey is not something you hear about at 4am...but good content is good content even at 2am...and its even better when it brings two people from different ends of the spectrum together and have a good time, talking about the hobby... And that's why it's such a great hobby cause people from all walks of life can enjoy it and make friends along the way...and that made my night a PSA 10...

    Thanks for the basic information, I'm fairly new to sports collecting and was not exactly sure if the number system represented numbers of the same card or if those apply to the card parallel type. Pulled a Trevor Lawrence numbered rookie and trying to find out everything I need to know about it. Is it smarter to hold a high value rookie...or hold out and hope his career goes well? Haha guess that's the catch..

    I knew it!!! I was right! Back in the day they usually made only 1-3 rookies cards and made a sh++ load so everybody could have one and be happy. But if you had a number one, basically that would show you have one that counts! My question is when you explain the difference between two of the rookies are they were not the same but can you explain about 100 rookies that has everything identical in the back and in the front except maybe one very hard to notice difference. Thanks!
    Drop another one!!!!😆

      Card market have definitely changed a ton in the last 40 years. Look at a guy like j-rod now... he's got sooooo many rookies and last year's was his rookie season

    I have a question that I can not find anywhere on the web. I know what parallel cards are, but what does it mean when they are different colors. Blue, green purple, hold etc. Are the color levels worth more? How are they in order?

    • @redcapesports
      @redcapesports  2 года назад

      Most parallel colors will be numbered on the back. Some will be numbered out of the year of manufacture i.e. /2022. Some are simply parallel as exclusives i.e. "Walmart Blue"

    Ok for one a standard game used jersey card is not a "Patch"! A patch is when the the gameused jersey has a part of an "Actual Patch" on it. Like piece of the lettering from their name off the jersey, or Team logo piece etc. Jersey cards are just game used jerseys. 2nd an RPA is a rookie "Patch" Autograph.. the others are rookie gameused jersey autos. There is a big difference, and big difference in price.

    Question for the serial numbers (I think this was covered around the 7:00 minute mark but just to confirm): So basically the best numbers to have out of a version are the first, last or a jersey number? For example, 01/99 and 99/99 are better than the rest of the numbers except in cases where a jersey number match presents itself? Thanks for anyone who answers!

    Topps Opening Day is the most affordable set. You can buy a hobby box at a fraction of other products. It might take three boxes to complete a set.
