Can 1 single Space Marine Ultramarine hold the canyon defenses vs 10 million zombies in a massive warhammer 40k zombie apocalypse siege with the zombie army charging the d-day beaches against an increasing number of Space Marines. I think putting them in a line on a flat map would drastically increase the Spacemarines dps.
Yeah, lot's of shots hit the ground before them not the zombies...
Nope as the zombies dead body would start to build a hill I see your point but it wouldn’t work over time
@@fraserr851 technically those bolters would be killing a lot more than what they are in this simulation also the rounds from the bolters would not leave a corpes would be more like a mist of blood an guts

The 500 would have won if here firing angle wouldnt have got so bad
When we get these absolutely massive body piles, I like calling it a "Gorecano." This is due to the blood spilling out across the bottom and the obvious massive pile of bodies
Don't forget, for the first 3 scenarios, he put the Ultramarines in a disadvantageous firing position. The lone Ultramarine at the start only got almost 400 kills because he wasn't firing continuously, he stopped firing when the zombies got to the base of his hill.

That math only works for melee as ranged can get to a point they can’t be hit and factor unity density/formation and terrain
It takes far longer for the space marines to die when they have more Allies so that wouldn’t really work
Perfect starting with 1 then 10 then 100...I like these battle tests

The bad positioning just behind the slope of the hill is hindering the marines since there are a ton of shots eating the dirt.
Many shots were hitting the hill. Try moving them to the spot were they can shoot downhill as well
Well this explains why runner zombies destroy them. Runners get in close and it seems like they don’t shoot the zombies in close hitting them. They have to shoot a certain distance away

Please do a video where you start with a single medieval archer vs an army of zombies. Then keep slowly upping his stats until he can defeat millions of zombies by himself

Idea for a video, could you do this as a league format? Maybe one video per week? With a different unit each time, say 100 defenders against 5 million standard zombies with points given for number of kills and time lasted?

Explain to me Lord General Militant, why did we just wasted a strong Chapter of Space Marines on Nurgle cultists when a simple Exterminatus would have been more effective and less resource intensive option.

Maybe try the same experiment again on Olympus with the Ultramarine guarding a path near the top with only one thin channel for the zombies to run through and no possibility of flanking them.
It would be a pure experiment of how many zombies it takes to kill an Ultramarine when the Marine has the ideal tactical advantage.
I know that this game has limitations, but tbh an unaugmented human (zombie) would NOT be able to even scratch Ceramite, much less the Adamantium and Plasteel molded plates, or even the undersuit, which is the weakest part of the armor. It takes M41 weapons to penetrate M41 armor; besides the fact that this is a battle for the Astra Militarum, such enemies are beneath the scope of the space marines.

What am I missing here? The marine only got a few hundred kills, but the zombie numbers are dropping by the thousands.

Hi DaleyTactics, I really enjoy your UEBS 2 videos. The only thing you need to get better at is planning ahead when you do time lapses. You have a habit of leaving the camera angle in a place where only a minute of the battle is visible during the time lapse.
If we’re taking lore into account the zombies couldn’t physically hurt an ultra marine they couldn’t touch him through his armor. And with a sword he’d wade through them. The only way they could kill him would be through exhaustion.
Or tear at the joint, minimal damage done a million times is a lot
@@averageeughenjoyer6429 yeah but I think a ultra marine with a chainsaw sword would destroy them. And a zombie wouldn’t be strong enough to tear through the armors joint. And then you have to take into account the stamina,strength and resilience that makes an ultra marine. I just don’t think zombies would be an issue at all he would just wade through them.

Space marines and zombies is feeling a little stale for me personally
I'd love to see a video of the same numbers in different formations to see how they do. 750 v 10mil in a blob like this video, then one stretched line at the top of the beach. Then several long, shallow lines at the ridge of each mountain. Then several smaller blobs at all narrow passes. It would be awesome to see which survive, who loses the least marines etc

Normaly a zombie should be able to kill a single space marine because of his armor. Should have been a win for the first SM even if he would run out of ammo.. would these videos make more sense with about one million zombies?
Could of at least lined them on tip of the hill where it bows… they are hitting the floor most of the time

The position of the marines is terrible, like 50% of their shots hit the ground. I think they would massacre the zombies if they used heir full potential
Why don’t giving them defensive options so they can move around… in every video I always think if you do it they will kill much more zombies

yeah the spacemarines are standing in a bad spot.they would have moved forward so they could fire unhindered over the hill down at the zombies.
no soldier present or in the future would have stood in that spot.its just a realy dumb spot.

Idk to much about this game besides the odd videos like this i watch. Can you make the space marines slowly fall back as they kill? I think you would need much less marines that way
