so bridge strategy for using the Legion of the Damned and the Samamanders, since they are two of the weaker factions, put the Imperial Fist on the side of the bridge that the enemy is coming from as they provide the beefy Melee defense, behind them on the bridge you put the Legion of the damned with their short range lighting attacks as they kinda work as mixed short range and Melee, and then on the other side of the bridge you put the Salamanders with their range attack and poor HP, and if your not going to have the Black Templars defending and just on the island, you should have them cover the rear flank of the Salamanders, so if a bridge does break somewhere else. Maybe try this strategy where you have two bridges right across from each other so the Templars can be right between the two bridges providing cover for both bridges. then put a beefy Legion like the Ultra Marines, Blood Angels, or Space Wolves.
When your weakest unit is about to collapse move the central unit you keeping backup up behind them so that you don't have units having to fight on two fronts
I started adding them just to WH40k + Star Wars battles since those factions are super OP as is. I think I need to just use less, they’re a challenge but OP when over 500k of them
How about all Melee 40k or starwars units filling set on attack mode the island then zombies surrounding charging the bridges. The units should only be able to push out so far before they are overwhelmed by the zombie numbers. This idea might work better for other Sci fi melee units or medieval units. area effect attacks that are too large would have a big advantage.
@@DaleyTactics Instead of spawning one mass of 50 k, maybe spawn in a few separate groups of anything between 5-50k just to give a few serious pushes against the lines.
Bruh... Yellow dudes are IMPERIAL fists, Black/silver (with cog and gauntlet symbols) are iron HANDS. Black/white w/ the cross symbol are Black Templars. Also, it seems like the templars needed to be able to move to avoid getting surrounded, if they had been able to make a battleline they would have been more effective.
Space Wolves are my favorite loyalist marines! Just fyi though…dudes in yellow armor are Imperial Fists. Keep up the cool videos! Hope to see more space wolves in future videos 😂
if i was any good at moding the next faction i would add would be the Carcharodon's AKA the space sharks. they are my favorite space marines (mainly because of Tyberos) and if you have never herd of them (not a lot of people have) i highly suggest you watch a video about "Tyberos the red wake" chapter master of the Carcharodon's.
For the love of God stop or severely reduce the military zombies. I know the outcome the second I see them and with half the space Marines being melee it's impossible for them to ever succeed without vehicle support or very well positioned ranged units.
In all honesty, Daley, I like where your channel is. I personally feel like a play through of that game would change the tone of the channel, and I don't think that's a great idea. Obviously, it's your channel, but i think the battle simulators are your bread and butter for a reason. You do a really fantastic job of making what could be a boring video into something epic with all your simulator videos already. The only game i would like to see come back to the channel maybe would be Star Wars: Empire at War. Other than that you are the only channel i watch almost daily.
Daley Tactics still uploads these amazing videos is amazing! sadly not alot of people watch him as of now, but still some! I love these videos, they are always gonna be amazing!
I think my favorite part is everyone in the comments whining about the military zombies being too strong when it's literally Warhammer units on the other side. How sad when your favorite universes OP units aren't the top dog anymore.
Dude yea just wasted the templars by keeping them on guard that makes them useless, just sitting there an let in the enemy run up an get the first hit is against the astartes code yea should let them advance when the enemy got close they would advanced and secured every bridge that way when they got engaged
Just an idea but why don’t you replay some of these battles using the exact same number of troops but different tactics to see if a victory can be pulled off by better positioning, troops or perhaps different strategies. I think it would be fun to see how tactics can change the outcome of the battle.
23:12 I love the fact that these two blood angels start an conversation in middle of a battlefield😂😂😂 Also i think the ultra marines needed to be also with the salamander's for assists them on battle...
Daley, it would be cool to do another defend mount Olympus video. Those ones are pretty cool. But instead of military or Star Wars at the top it should be the war hammer units defending against zombies.
Ya know what would make these battles a little more interesting is if there was supply lines and limits. Also when the zombies get closer the units switch to a melee style of fighting. Also tactical regrets and several more defensive lines. Idk it may or may not be too realistic and take away from the pure onslaught and fun of it. But a little more movement then "stand and shoot until dead" might be interesting as well
*IMPERIAL* Fists brother not Iron Fists, ya be getting em confused with the Iron Hands which is a totally different Legion/Chapter, for the record to here the Imperial Fists are using Terminator armor, versus the Mark VIII Errant the other Chapters appear to be using, not sure if that has mechanical value here, but lore wise they are far better and treated almost like relics, which are only issued to the 1st company of each Chapter. Edit: Also of course the Salamanders are terrible, they ain't using Flamers to a Salamander that is a debuff of the highest order, I'm joking obviously but it does feel kinda odd not seeing them with either flame or melta weapons. Overall I think just better positioning is required here rather than a numbers boost, for example the armor you had on the field did basically nothing and zombies closed with them rather quickly rendering their guns useless, so if you placed armor/emplacements to where they could lend long range fire support to the melee vanguards, by blowing chunks out of the zombies rear units and taking some pressure off the melee and mid ranged units I think that would go a long way. Same goes for the units protecting the primary (Titus in this case), a mix of mid range and melee would likely be better so the mid range could soften up target before they make it into melee range and the melee can deal the death blow(s).
Salamanders range very well. They run away and shoot opponents. Ultramarines don't run backward and shoot. So if you don't let Salamanders range you are taking away their advantage.
It's funny how you call these space marine legions when they're actually chapters. Also the yellow terminators are Imperial Fists, not iron fists. Terminators are a type of power armor that is only used by space marine veterans, so those guys are just a little extra special, pretty cool. Loving your 40k videos, always try to watch one when I see it
I'd like to see you do a let's play of SM2, something a bit different from you, plus you make me laugh the most when you are under pressure like in the army men videos
Maybe cause you bunch up the tanks and not spread them out to cover. Also, I would have ALL melee out front covered by range but that is how I would play it.
Its kinda funny... Slamanders are not that squishy and why they don't have their flamer weapons... SpaceWolfs are Melee experst and absolute beasts... same for Black Templars its funny to see their sh*t kick in so fast... And Iron Fist are more on the defense side with range weaponary not a first line melee units xD mod creator need to get his info straight xD
space marine: *fires exploding round killing 10 zombies*
The game: "that still counts as one!"
so bridge strategy for using the Legion of the Damned and the Samamanders, since they are two of the weaker factions, put the Imperial Fist on the side of the bridge that the enemy is coming from as they provide the beefy Melee defense, behind them on the bridge you put the Legion of the damned with their short range lighting attacks as they kinda work as mixed short range and Melee, and then on the other side of the bridge you put the Salamanders with their range attack and poor HP, and if your not going to have the Black Templars defending and just on the island, you should have them cover the rear flank of the Salamanders, so if a bridge does break somewhere else. For the Emperor brothers! Dark Angel here! Hold the line against the undead horde!
Could really use one of your dark age of technology war crime weapons rn....
When your weakest unit is about to collapse move the central unit you keeping backup up behind them so that you don't have units having to fight on two fronts
You gotta stop using those military zombies, man. As soon as they get to the space marines it's game over. Too OP.

Looks like the blood angels where hyperfocused on a glitched/invisible enemy at 23:28, probably why they went down.
I have no problem with the military zombies being strong, but for the life of me I can't imagine why they have splash damage.

Yeah, non-defensive melee units like them should be set to attack or guard.

Nah the Guard were the real MVPs as per usual. Alone a guardsman can do nothing, but a guardsman is never alone.
I'm simple I see Daley with uebs 2 or especially attack on toys. And I watch it. And I like it.
you gotta use your tanks better. spread them out, set a couple to each bridge for supporting fire
DaleyTactics, awesome video bro
Appreciate it!
Judging from the body piles I do believe the MVP's are the Cadian Imperial Guards
Please do Space Marine 2. From what I’ve seen it looks like a really solid game.

It looks to me like the Salamanders dont have explosive rounds, which would explain why they can't hold off the zombies
Definitely bolster them. The military zombies are too much lol.
Those armored zombies are OP lol. They literally kill about 5 marines at a time.
Thing is, if you line these forces up on either side of a city, and put them all on Attack mode, the Space Marine army wipes
I would be interested in seeing daily play space marine 2

However. All units that spawn under water you should just put to attack immediately. Just let them for quicker that way instead of drowning
That’s a good idea
