Is it simple dry eye or could you have an automimmune disease?

There are many reasons for dry eyes. Even more for dry mouth. But what if you have an autoimmune disease? It can affect other areas like the nervous system, skin, lungs, GI tract, kidneys among others. There are treatments for it. And you can have other associated conditions.
