Absolutely loving your videos, it would be great to see a video that covers the growing cycle of the grapevine from the end of harvest to the next harvest covering how the vine actually develops (I believe shoots on the vine from the previous year affect the next years harvest but this is a topic I am not certain on)

Would you, by chance, take requests of topics?
Also, your videos are amazing. You found a way to make them educational, fun and interesting! I've already watched so many of them and only found your channel about a month ago!

Thank you for the compliments and for watching. I do take requests, though I've already got a bit of a queue built up, so I can't promise when I'll get to a particular request. Please let me know, though, what you'd like to hear about. Thanks again!

Is the State of Michigan a good place to grow grapes? I live in West Michigan and that is know for having most of the fruit belt.

Question here. I recently attended an ephemera auction with a civil war Union soldier letter home to mother where he talks of getting very sick from "succession grapes" not sure how that term originated or where but the letter was written in 1861..I am not sure if this was part of the phylloxera wine Blight of the time or something different entirely like perhaps attaching "succession" to anything bad that happens from a northerner's point of view. None in the ephemera group had ever heard of succession grapes and googling kind of took us into a fungal disease direction but stopped no where uses that term. Also would eating those grapes make a person ill? Thought I would ask the experts..
