Heitor Villa-Lobos Prelude 1 by Jad Azkoul

Jad Azkoul performs Villa-Lobos prelude 1 on a Lowden concert guitar.This recital took place in Tunisia. There are no squeaks during hand shifts.
Jad recorded the 5 proludes on Forlane records. They can be heard on RUclips as well as on Spotify. Also on RUclips are preludes 3 and 4from the same Tunisia concert.
Jad has had several Lowden concert guitars, this being his third. He prefers carbon treble strings to get the rich sound he likes.
The Villa-Lobos prelude is deceptively easy to play, with lots of open strings in teh accompaniment, and a diminshed chord that slides from one position to another. (Jad can do this without producng squeaks).
The concert in Tunisia was supposed to be onthe desert sands, but a terrible deset strorm destroyed the venue and we had to opt for an enclosed place in Tunis. It was great anyway.
