For anyone that cares regarding fuel. I have a 2011 mercruiser 4.3 with carburetor. The carb had never been apart until 2024 I figured it’s due some cleaning and figured it be full of varnish and gunk since I never run anything but 87. Took it apart clean as a whistle pulled jets perfectly clean so put it back together. I owe it to Startron Enzyme fuel treatment I run it in my gas religiously. 14 years and not a speck of dirt. So my recommendation run Startron and keep filters changed.
I agree Boat covers are the single worst thing you could use for a boat, I ruined an absolutely mint condition 1988 chaparral bow rider by using a cheap boat cover on it, never again

I removed the carpet on my old Bass Tracker and rolled on truck bed liner. Works great looks good and a hellofalot esyer than re-carpeting.
