I hope humans can last long enough and evolve in a way to where people will view life as we live it today the way people living today view life in this movie....thinking "imagine that's how savage and difficult life used to be."
I remember being fully confused by the doggy style sex scenes when I saw this movie on cable in the 1980s to the point where as an adult 30 years later I did a quest for what movie it was & finally figured out it was this....
This movie would have been a favorite of mine if only they hadn't harmed all those innocent animals to make it. I hope the makers of this movie burn for what they did to those poor creatures...
You weren't there (nor did I). Never say NEVER! Must have happened once or twice over millennia... And where do you see it specified that that's black women in the movie? I see modern humans and neanderthals.
So? Lucy was 2 000 000 years ago. The movie is set around 80 000 years ago when neanderthals still existed along modern humans. And it's never specified where it exactly happens. What remains were found is just a drop compared to what existed and will never be found at all. And it's not a documentary, but a plausible story (among many other possibilities just as plausible) about what could have happened. As for the "hairy" part, just because we can't find hairs 80 000 years old doesn't prove anything: they just don't conserve for that long.
Why aren't there any significant clips of this movie on youtube. More than 30 seconds?
Awesome movie...ended up buying the DVD recently ..
I can't find this on dvd
