  • A return to the beautiful Oaken Clough and Ewden Beck!
Beautiful, wild and completely untouched! It’s the kind of place where you wouldn’t be surprised to see a Bigfoot stride out of the trees in front you.
Lunch at the beautiful waterfall, then a climb up to the Fox Stones. This rock formation must be one of the remotest and least visited in The Peak District!
More exploring of Ewden Beck and an unexpected scramble back up to the main track completes the walk.

Hi Kevin another great vid in the bag! We've never heard of the Fox Stones, did manage to find them marked on an os map after watching last night. What we like and find interesting about your channel is that as you state, you go where others don't. We watch a few other RUclipsrs located around the Peak District, there are also alot we don't watch as we just don't take to them, but what we find is they are mostly all going to the same places and doing the same thing. It's interesting to watch different people as it helps us to navigate the lay of the land so when we head up it's easier for us to plan our adventures etc... Your on to a great RUclips adventure with fantastic adventures that stand out from the rest keep it up and stay safe out there! Thankyou 🙂.

Hey guys thanks for watching (as always), and for your lovely words. I do strive to do something different from most RUclipsrs and it isn’t always easy to find walks / areas that most people don’t do / visit. Your comment means a lot to me :)

Great vid and beautiful locations. Would love to learn more about this norse sacrificial site. Also RUclips keeps unsubscribing me from your channel, don't know why this keeps happening

Hey, how are you? Thanks for watching. I’m sorry RUclips keeps unsubscribing you. I’ve no idea why but I have heard other RUclipsrs talking about this happening so it’s not just you! The only info I have about the sacrifices to the norse gods is from a book I have. There are 2 rock features on the side of the valley - Gallows Rocher and Raven Rocher where this is supposed to have happened. Unfortunately I’ve not been able to find out more. Let me know if you uncover anything on it.

love your videos, but don't give to many of these secret places away...been over that way a few times myself..never managed to find the Stone circle/ Ring Cairn..i remember speaking to a farmer who made out he knew nothing about it...a secret place for sure.

Thanks mate. That’s my second video in that area and when I was doing the first (my first time there) I did ask myself whether I should be giving the location away. Luckily my videos don’t get many views 😂. I’ve been to the stone circle a couple of times. You can only see a few of the stones and then only when you trip up on them! It’s a great area to walk / explore though. Thanks for watching/ commenting I appreciate it 👍
