Loved The Jam love ftj. Love foxton & hastings. Bruce was my hero as a young teenager, loved everything about him. Met him a couple of times, they say never meet your heroes, but i wasnt disapointed.😊
BRUCE FOXTON is a bass genius, he makes everything he plays on is brilliant.
Absolutely! 👍
Thanks for this. One of my all time faves on bass. Definitely a huge influence on my playing. ❤️👍🏼
Amazing to hear what an impact he’s had on your own music! Glad you enjoyed the interview 😊 Thanks so much for watching 👍
Yeah the jam are such an awesome band! They represent exactly what kick arse british punk music is all about, I would put them up there as my top 5 favourite punk bands as well as The Clash, The Sex Pistols, The Undertones and The Ramones
Great interview I’m now at the age where I really enjoy listening to Bruce talking ❤and to be fair to Bruce he didn’t get the opportunity or maybe the time to write more songs 😎in other words great songwriter given enough time
I saw From the Jam in Aberdeen in the Music Hall Yesterday They were Fantastic and Bruce came on at the end and thanked everyone a very nice guy
Great interview ! Bruce is a fantastic player, and his vocal harmonies really helped put The Jam so far ahead of most bands back then. Cheers.
He absolutely did! Glad you enjoyed our interview 😊 Thanks for watching 👍
Great interview girls
Thanks David 😊 Glad you enjoyed it! 👍
No mention of all the years he played with Stiff Little Fingers?
Ak. wanted to hear something too.
Did Bruce used to live in Hebden Bridge, I used to see a guy who looked his spitting double drinking in The Upper George Hotel in Halifax?
Ooh no idea! We’ll have to ask him next time 👍 Thanks for watching 😊
Depressing
'Tell Russell that' . Why? Russell didn't write it. Completely wrong about Wham Rap too. Bruce did not play on it. He did play on a George demo that never saw the light of day
