This is a lovely home. Plenty of drawers in the kitchen, but no pantry. Also, the laundry room needs a sink. The dragonfly porch is a real winner.

It's definitely a Modern design. I just don't want family room next to my bedroom.,1) I will never make it to other end of house.2) Might turn fam rm into craft room.3) why is half bath next to primary bedroom. Did I miss pantry? Will watch again. Thanks Chance, this is a challenge.

The finishes are on point… and having your own wing of the house as a master retreat… Freaking awesome… 250 isn’t terrible either… really impressive what they can do with these homes… I grew up in a single wide for years… this is great…. I like this. It's perfect for a family with kids. Especially when the parents want their private space.
One side for them , the other for the kids. Placed on a couple of green acres, all the windows are perfect. Would definitely buy & add a pool to the deck.
That was amazing. I did have a chuckle at the above comment..... It clearly is 2 homes but it's stunning inside. There are ways to make it look more like one big home. Hubby is very creative that way. I would love to have all that space! I honestly thought it was going to cost a lot more than it did
Northstar Systembuilt homes have one called the Savannah that is very similar to this with a 3rd section turned sideways like that. It has been out for a few years. I just haven't been able to find one on a lot anywhere. The Cumberland by them is a 3500 sq ft home that is 2 sections set normal and 2 sections set sideways to the other 2 like this one.

Expected the master bedroom to be bigger
I absolutely really love the layout of this place and the exterior of it. My favorite parts are the built-ins throughout, fireplace in the living and den area, and the foyer with the glass inside it. My most favorite part is the master bedroom and bathroom along with the closet. God bless you and your family.❤❤❤❤❤

I too would have to change the floor color. Other than that the house is beautiful. I love that they did all the closet right instead of plastic wire shelves.
@@Klperformance68 -- Flooring choices, as well as all other features, are very personal, which is why HUNDREDS of customizable selections must be made prior to the purchase of ANY new home (stick built, modular or otherwise).

I thought this was going to be a lot more than that...cabinets to the ceiling, no wire racks, 2 fireplaces, proch, even the guest bedroom were huge. Good job 😎
Love this home, just wished that the main house had an master bedroom, bath & closet
The only thing I would change is the kitchen sink from the island and the closet from the bathroom.

Hello Chance! Very good video. Nice place, mostly. It does look like a single wide added to a double wide though! I have actually thought about adding two single wides together (especially if you can more or less build what you want!), when I noticed a lot of the time even two of them was cheaper than one double wide!! Okay. I'm going to start with the last section. Not sure how we'd do some of it though. And I am very disappointed that this good sized home does Not have a Pantry!
(1) The Den area would be turned into the GYM. We don't need the half bath as we'd be the only ones back in this section, so add it back to the Master Closet.
(2) In the Master Suite...the Bedroom is a good size and is okay except we'd add a small Gas Fireplace in there somewhere. In the Bathroom the Water Closet is wayyyyy toooo narrow!! Remove the enclosure and turn the Commode to face the Shower, giving it lots of room on each side. I like the Master Bedroom and Closet - do wish the Closet wasn't in the Bathroom though.
(3) The Utility Room is perfect! Love the Upright Freeze space. Like it that the electrical panel and Water Heater are in there (the Furnace being in the hallway is okay).
NOW, this is the part not sure how to work. Normally we'd build a Garage at the back door of the utility room, with a Pantry (as there's not one), a Storage unit and Pet Shower in it. But to do so here, we'd cover up the outside door on the above section, and the porch would have to be shortened a lot! I need an attached Garage though with my handicap. So something would have to be worked out, I guess.
(4) I love the Guest Bathroom! It will be left as is.
(5) Okay. The two Guest Bedrooms at the front of the house are the same size according to the measurements. So, including closet, one would be turned into my Library, with a very small sitting area. The other room, including closet, would be turned into my enclosed soundproofed, Music/Studio Room, with a small area in it that is my Office Room.
(6) The other Guest Bedroom will be left as is.
(7) In the Kitchen...I don't like the sink in the Island. I don't know it the Counter next to the dining room can be extended and the sink moved over to underneath that window or not. Might end up having to rearrange the cook stove and everything else as well. If that would be the only way to move the sink, then no, it would stay in the Island. It's Not a deal breaker for me to have the sink in the island, I just don't like it there. I like to be able to make the island smaller and put wheels on it to move around where I need it or just to get it out of my way as I'm usually using my wheelchair when I'm in the kitchen. But as I said, Not a deal breaker if I can't move it. The Microwave is in the perfect spot! I didn't notice if the Cook Stove was electric or gas, but I want a Gas Cook Stove. And as I mentioned at the beginning, I am very disappointed this size house does not have a Pantry!
(8) In the Dining Room...we'd put in a smaller table and move it closer to the kitchen to give me room to put Grandma's China Cabinet on the inner wall in the Dining Room by the sliding doors. We would have an enclosed porch out there for year round use. (I do like that big porch showed, but it's too big as it covers ALL the back doors with no place left for the garage as stated above).
(9) In the Living Room...we'd want a Gas Fireplace or a Wood-burning Fireplace/Stove one. We'd also put a big porch at the front door.

Looks should be the least of your problems. I'd rather have this than pay WAY more for a studio that looks "nice" on the outside.

I love the front door and foyer. I would prefer a wood fireplace and I could do without the shiplap.The average cost to build in Alaska where I live is $262 per square foot as of July 2024. So a 2500 sq. ft. home here would cost $655,000. If only we could get manufactured homes here.
This is a very very nice home! The deck is top notch! So many parts to like. Totally love the closet! The stone lends to a beautiful exterior! Liked entire home. ❤❤

I love this house. The quality for a manufactured home is outstanding. I really liked the frosted window in the master bath instead of the clear glass....it lets in light but gives some privacy when bathing. The price is excellent and even if upgrading and customizing for another $100K it's still a great price. Thank you! Blessings.

Just add another bathroom and make it an ensuite, by converting the half bath to a full bathroom and this would be perfect for two - four couples or housemates to share. You'd be able to have a decent amount of privacy for each, the corridor between the two potential suites and the rest of the house makes such rooms even MORE private!. The two bigger bedrooms with private baths could go to the two roommates or couples that contribute the most financially, while the smaller bedrooms sharing the bath in the main hallway could go to the others. With that separate den converted to a bedroom, one of the bedrooms in the main section could be used as an office, computer gaming room, etc or could be opened up to the main grand room and turned into an game room or something. The price of $270,000 to $320,000 or so (counting base price plus above modifications plus set up and delivery) tanslates to around $67,500 to $80,000 per roommate or couple assuming 4 couples or individuals,meaning it's certainly doable for those with median incomes.

I Love this house! I would change just a few things, like 2 sinks in the guest bathroom, and the master closet I would need a place to hang my dresses. No pantry, but I could live without it I guess.
The only thing that I despise is the primary closet in the bathroom.

I think it’s gorgeous!! If I had kids at home it would definitely be for me!! It is missing the walk in pantry and sink in the laundry room!! I absolutely love the porch on the back and I would add a roof to it and then I would add a front porch! I was definitely off on the price bc I thought it would be double the price!!

I am in Love with this house
I liked the foyer!! The living room was a nice size. So was the kitchen. Loved the family room. But no pantry? Not a fan of 3 back doors. I would be laying in bed thinking “Did I lock all the doors?” Lol We keep our sliding door locked with a pole in it. Our garage is always locked so if I forget to lock the door to the garage I’m not worried. I am not a fan of small dining areas. I like a kitchen table AND a dining ROOM so we can have Thanksgiving. I’ve not seen a big enough dining room area to seat 10 in any modular home

No, Chance, I don't like this home - I love it!!! This is just about perfect. Just lovely. I'd have to turn a bedroom into a pantry, but hell, there's lots of bedrooms, aren't there! Goodness me. This is just fantastic.
It is beautiful, mobile have come a long way. I would consider as soon as they start making all the ceilings higher about 12' and the living room space about 20'.

This house is huge. I love, love the courtyard(?). I would landscape that area with a fountain and have the windows converted to french doors. Or I would make narrow planting beds for vegetables and add a gate. The family room is nice. A few drawbacks: too many doors, no closet in the foyer, move half bath away from master, the living room is too large, the master is in another zip code. I would make the living room small, put a laundry room between the living room and the courtyard, and make the old laundry location into an office.

Hey Chance, you really hit it out of the ballpark with this model house! This is a great house for a family. Mom and dad have their side, and the kids have their own side. Then they all can meet in the middle. I can't wait to see the other house located next to this one that you showed in the beginning of this video!

There is a lot of space in this house but no pantry and closets are lacking in the other rooms. Love that the tub and toilet are not right beside each other. I have a disabled son and that is very important. Closets and pantry would be a huge improvement on this place.
This is definitely a different layout unlike anything I've ever seen. I would have certain cosmetic changes in terms of colors. The one thing I noticed was a lack of a pantry and coat closer. With the square footage, I would expect both.
I definitely liked the dragonfly addition and the three entry points. Plenty of space for outdoor activities.
The layout is definitely unique. I kind of like the space between the two sections as it certainly provided a spot for potential landscaping. I could picture some flowers, a fountain or water feature of some kind, and a seating area to enjoy it all. Those windows are well positioned to take advantage of that view.

I wish builders would put a wand style faucet on separate tubs as a standard feature. It would make washing/rinsing hair so much easier. I have long hair, and that style faucet means I need a cup to rinse my hair. As for that outdoor alcove; I would put in a sliding door where those tall windows are, a set of steps, and put up a white picket fence to close it off and have an outside office/sitting area. Imagine that side looking out at a body of water. You could see and hear it while you work from home.
my favorite so far....hits all the bells and whistles.........I watch another channel with these seriously luxury homes and many of them don't have wood shelf and rods in their closets.
