'KARMA' is a series that depicts the Agraharam way of life of the thirties. Shot in actual location at Konerirajapuram Agraharam situated 22 kms from Kumbakonam.
This is a fictional story that captures the life and times of Somasekara Ganapadigal and his joint family.
How the family disintegrates because of the judgement given by Somasekara Ganapadigal against a priest Sankara Sastrigal forms the crux of the story.

I was personally so much involved with this Mega Serial that when I returned from Bangkok and visited Kumbakonam, my native Place I came to Konerirajapuram and met all of you including some Technicians. I cherish that moment every minute of my Life. I wish all of you good health.
New Avayam is beautiful and the madisar suits her well.
Excellent serial. I just couldn’t explain my feelings. I remembered my childhood memories in my village and my grandparents and compared it with their lifestyle why did you finish it so soon each and everyone of this serial excelled in their performances. Rukku and seshu no chance. Mohan sir no words.

Very well taken Agrahara kadai,rather life.All actors really lived their role and made us feel we are really in an agraharam.Hats off to Chanakya sir for the wonderful direction.I can say this is an unique Tamiz serial worth watching and remembering.All those who have actually migrated from agraharam will be tempted to make a come back.These days even in Agraharams life is not as difficult as before.

When this serial ends after going to this length its ardent rasikas would feel like when it was abruptly discontinued in 2007.It had created such an impression then and now. I,for one, would like this to go on for some more months though it would be a task for the director.
In yesterday's Special Episode which I could see only to-day the experience and involvement of all the Actors/Actresses as expressed touched my heart.
