'KARMA' is a series that depicts the Agraharam way of life of the thirties. Shot in actual location at Konerirajapuram Agraharam situated 22 kms from Kumbakonam.
This is a fictional story that captures the life and times of Somasekara Ganapadigal and his joint family.
How the family disintegrates because of the judgement given by Somasekara Ganapadigal against a priest Sankara Sastrigal forms the crux of the story.

What an unexpected episode! Very happy to know that Sivaraman Bala couple had a son. Rukku paati's death, though unexpected can be accepted, considering how old she was. Her mistakes were definitely forgiven as she died in the same spot as her beloved husband peacefully. This was a memorable journey of 5 generations, beautifully narrated and directed.

The finishing is on the expeccted lines. A marvellous series, depicting our culture. No words to praise the artistes, especially Mr. Mohan and Mrs. Preethi. All were good in their own way. Excellent direction. A masterpiece of its kind.

This shows how we have intertwined our lives with KARMA! BC sir, it takes a lot of courage to accept on open forum that there are loose ends still left for the story!
