@@DIRTROADCRED I'm planning to add a 2.5" leveling kit just to fit a 34" tire on my jeep wrangler unlimited 2022, 8 speed automatic.Do I need to regear?
I overland so I did not build a rockcrawler.I waited to get a lift kit with 35".It handles traveling thru forests and national park like a dream.Keep up the good work.
I bought my jeep as a daily, which for me is awesome, I'm not a rock crawler i just enjoy driving a jeep, and do some easy overlanding, with how expensive jeeps are today, I want mine to last a long time. But still have fun . Thanks Matt you always have great content man !!
My first mod was to have a ceramic coat and paint protection film installed on my Rubicon 4xe. It saved me from a lot of little rocks and those monster Florida bugs.
I use the "4 P" method. Plan, Prepare, Patience, Purchase. Using that method has made life easier planning my build(s). The Fox shocks & stabilizer kit is like a night/day compared to stock. I just added 4.88 gears & man what a difference on my 35's. And yes, I remember the Big Red Gladiator, I had forgotten about it. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Just installed a dead pedal and I love it. Best mod I've done yet. I'm pretty tight with my mopar 2.0 lift but am thinking about a fox steering stabilizer
My favorite mod, was getting the steering box replaced and putting on a fox stabilizer shock. Made a night and day difference. No more white nuckle driving
I’m from the 717 area and just picked up my first jeep last week. I got a 2023 Earl grey rubicon farout edition diesel. I love it and have been watching your videos for a little while now. I’m from the side by side world but I’m switching over to the jeep with starting a new family. Keep up the awesome content!!
Excellent video. Great points that were addressed, especially with the switch panels and suspension components. The Fox ATS stabilizer is absolutely on the list to get. Keep up the great work.
I would add the radio antenna to this type of simple mods. It's not expensive and a short one prevents it from hitting the body or window like the stock does if you are in a forest type area wheeling
Ha. I bought a 97 TJ in 1996 when they first came out. Could only afford a 4cyl being an E-2 at the time. Loved that Jeep and had 33’s in her. 5 Wranglers later, I’m running a fairly built 20 JLUR with 37’s…
thank you so much for this video. Gives me some ideas and things to really think about w/ my JT Rubicon and plans for the future once some funds saved up :) have been enjoying your videos since the CJ video days.
Great video; just got a 2008 Wrangler Sahara for 16 year old… thoughts on his first few mods? Navigating? Lifts? Interior? Exterior? Underneath? He will not be a rock climb guy. lol
Hey enjoying the channel but wanted to know if your going to do anything with the JK’s. Love the dependability of the JK and would like to see some stuff on that
Matt your videos have been great for me! You’ve got a new subscriber! 😊 Being a new Jeep owner your videos have helped a lot while trying to figure out what to and not to upgrade and change on my Jeep. Thanks for being non-dogmatic and non-biased recommending good solid products with honest opinions. Would love to see a video (if you haven’t already posted one) on the different kinds of lift and tire combos and how to choose them. Everybody has their own plans for rock crawling or mudding or “mall crawling” lol but what about those of us that want a super smooth ride on the highway (80% of the time), but also do some moderate off-roading as well occasionally? Doesn’t seem to be much solid advice out there for us and you seem to have honest and good advice with the knowledge to back it in that area. Keep up the good work with the channel! Thanks!
So seeing how’s there’s literally dozens of lifts, any suggestions? Would like to stay with 2-3” and not cost an arm and a leg nor so cheap it’ll break on the first rock.
Excellent video! A lot of good info! Would y’all consider doing a video on Gladiator Mojave-specific upgrades and do's and don’ts? I know there may not be as many Mojave owners out there compared to all the other models, but it is what I have, and there are not a lot of quality videos that I have found.
Great videos Matt! What front bumper did you have on that Gladiator? I've had a new Willy's JLU Recon for just a few months & wanting a bumper similar to what you had.
You've mentioned a dealership in Paris, Kentucky, but you also have a link that looks like it can offer multiple dealerships. I remember you mentioning having an actual sponsor or partnership. What's your advice for when we want to order a Jeep? Thank you for all the great videos and information
Yes! Our affiliate program is exclusive to Dan Cummins in Paris, Kentucky. If you go to our landing page you can fill out a form on the exact Jeep you are looking for, and it will be forwarded straight to them. Exclusive DRC pricing, availability to ship countrywide. They are the Jeep ordering experts. bit.ly/DealershipAffiliate
@@DIRTROADCRED thank you for the clarification! It almost seemed like the website would hook us up with local dealerships, so I was confused. We live in Harpers Ferry WV, so when the time comes, we might just take the ride. My last Jeep we ordered from a friend in Kellogg Idaho, flew out, bought, and drove across country back home. Kentucky will be a much shorter drive. And we won't almost die a few times like we did on the last trip 😅. I can't wait to order from them hopefully in the next year. Looking to get a white Willy's, 4dr, heated seats, alpine, stick shift, and aux buttons. Pretty simple. Thank you dude! I'm stuck in a lease with my Tundra and have to wait to get out of it unfortunately...
@@321jono Yeah, we're slowly rolling out our affiliate pitch in more upcoming videos. We needed to solidify how it all worked on our backend. That's a much shorter distance! That will be a good looking Jeep. Excited for you! -Ryan & Matt
Great thing about not making alot of money fast or having it to spend, is I am getting to window shop a lot before ordering and building my jeep out. Sad part is my list of things I know I want keeps getting longer.😂😂😂
Going old school with the Gladiator. Remember some of your past videos on another channel you demoed some exhausts on JL’s with 2.0 and 3.6…what are your thoughts today on exhaust mods? Great stuff as always.
When one of your other videos that I cannot find right now you replaced your factory radio antenna with another. I did that as well and then I tossed out my factory antenna. The replacement I bought was horrible so I had to rebuy a factory antenna but my reception is still terrible. I believe you live relatively close to me as I live in Chester county Pennsylvania and my reception as I stated is terrible. I do not recall having such terrible reception on other vehicles I've had. I take it your reception for Philadelphia radio stations is okay?
Just curious if you had any recommendations for replacement mirrors for the Jeep Gladiator. There is a bad blind spot and was hoping you might have tested something along those lines.
Just grab some of the cheap fish lens stick ons and put them on the top left of the driver side and top right of the right side. I have it on every car I own including the wrangler. Worth every penny and I use it just as much as the actual mirror
I have a question would you recommend the fox stabilizer and control arm drop bracket for brand new stock with the extreme tire package on a 2024 wrangler Willys? I’m not planning on adding bigger wheels but just wanting to get the smoothest ride I can get.
Thank you for the video and recommendations. I have a few of those already but one of your videos encouraged me to by the Yeti Cup Holder. One question, one of my biggest doubts is working with electrical. How much would it cost to have y AuxBeam professionally done? I am currently running two 3" beam lights and a lightbar. I plan to add 2 more 3" lights to the back number once I buy it.
I've been looking for a two door manual for awhile. While I've found a few, most were older and I am going to be trading in or just straight up buying, dunno yet. I currently own a Mitsubishi Mirage and enjoy it as a daily because of the mpg and reliability. Right now it's been difficult to find one up to snuff. But when I do, I want to configure mine a bit closer to highway spec. Mainly because 80% of its life will be as a daily, road going Jeep that will run some gentle trails with 20% of actual planned overland trips. It will be worked like a horse though, as I do with all my vehicles. What would you think?
Question, do you recommend a winch if I’m rarely off-roading at all? If so, it’s very very easy trails. I know some people get it for aesthetic purposes but wanted to hear your thoughts. I just don’t know if it something I would ever use. Thanks!

Please suggest us any 2 inch Lift kit, Shocks, Tires sizes, wheel sizes for on city daily use (I don't do much off roading).
