    We're super excited to be in China 🇨🇳 and can't wait to explore this beautiful country😍 We were told NOT to visit China for various reasons and the western media would have you thinking it's not a place you should visit. Our experience could not be any different as we've met so many friendly locals, have OPENLY filmed everywhere without any issues and have tried the BEST food as well. Drop below any recommendations you have for China and what we should do. We aim to show the REAL China in the upcoming vlogs 🙂

      Many of the media that tell you how terrible China is are paid by the U.S. government. It is their job to publish anti-China statements or they are brainwashed by the media’s anti-China remarks.
      What’s ridiculous is that these people have never been to China or left China 20 years ago. They have no understanding of the current situation in China.

    I am see more and more westerners are traveling to China. They will see the real China completely the opposite of what the western mainstream media reports.
    I have met a young couple in Thailand recently. They were from US and they were traveling from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and then to Cambodia and Vietnam and before going back to US.
    We have happened to have a casual friendly conversation and I have asked them since they are so near to China, why not go to China just for a few days to see China. I told them China is very interesting, But I was surprised of what they told me. They said according to all their media reports in US and advice by many people. They were advice and told not to travel to China. Even their parents don't allow them to go to China. They told China is not a safe country to travel. Very dirty, poor rundown infrastructures, poor transportation system, polluted, robbery is common even in broad daylight and chances of been detained for no reason by the Communist is very high. Because China is an authoritarian state and all foreign visitors are monitored by thousands of cameras everywhere, every minute where foreign visitors go. Foreign visitors from western countries can be detained for months or even years for no reason.
    All these is what they know about China. The couple is like below 25 years of age and already so badly brainwashed by their government-controlled media. This is really sad.

    • @sunkissedbucketlist
      @sunkissedbucketlist  Год назад +96

      China is definitely not what the western media tries to portray, at least our experience in the country was amazing and we found it more liberating than the west. Not once were we asked anywhere to not record or film. No one questioned as even though we had cameras everywhere however if we were to go everywhere with cameras in the west, we would have been asked to stop filming. In the next vlogs coming up, we will share our incredible experience in China 🤩

      Wow, I know it's particularly bad in the US, but I expected younger ppl to be less reliant on main stream media propaganda. I guess the propaganda is really working if absolutely everyone is repeating what they've been told. So many amazing videos on YT showing the complete opposite, but they're ignored or pushed down in the algorithm to suppress the truth. Sad indeed. Hopefully these vlogs will start to become more widespread, I've seen so many so I don't know how anyone could continue with the lies and nonsense.

      Mate, I went to China, with the same lies told to me. But I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the REAL China. It was NOTHING like what we were told back home. I'm a white Aussie male, and I never felt so safe being in China, every where I went, and any time of the day. I could NOT say the same for USA when I went. I was warned not to go to certain suburbs, I would NOT dare to go out after Midnight, and I was always concerned knowing that People carry guns in USA (40,000 Gun related deaths a year in USA ... virtually ZERO gun related deaths every year in every other developed city in the World).

    I was pleasantly surprised when I went to China as well. If you get to check out the other Cities of China, you will also be amazed. Shanghai is amazing, but so is Beijing. Beijing is a circular city (ring roads), where the inner circle is the ancient Forbidden City, a wonderful tourist attraction. Then the 2nd Circle is a preserved Old China city (old Beijing). As you move to the outer Circles of the Beijing you end up with amazing futuristic sights. The 7th Circle is 1000kms to circumnavigate.
    You also have to see China's 2,500 year old Suzhou City, with a population of 11 Million (twice that of Sydney Australia). It is futuristic and is China's Venice, with wonderful canals, bridges, rivers ... a heaven on Earth.

    Wonderful video but I have a question for you, if I understood correctly, you apply the 144 hours transit visa once you got there right? At the airport in Seoul (in your case) before you check in your bags, they asked you if you had another flight booked within the 144 hours and then, when you arrived to Shanghai, you went directly to the visa desk with your fingerprints done and they allow you to enter the city right?

    • @sunkissedbucketlist
      @sunkissedbucketlist  Год назад +2

      Yes, for the 144 hour visa you must have an onward flight booked out of China in under the 144 hours. When you arrive, you fill out an arrival form and take it to the 144 hours visa desk and they allow you to enter 😀

    为了照顾附近居民的感受, 上海的磁悬浮在大多数时间都降速行驶, 只有2趟能达到430Km/h, 当年上海建造磁悬浮的主要目的是和有轨车竞争中国的高铁标准, 但最终有轨高铁胜出, 于是上海的磁悬浮现在挺尴尬, 每年都有人大代表提案停运或拆除
    中国的高铁现在最高时速也达到了350km/h, 当然实际上也只有部分车次在部分区域能达到这个最高时速, 比如上海到北京的高铁一般只有G2/G6/G8/G10等车次能达到: 采用复兴号CR400AF车型, 全程 1325 公里仅需4小时30分.
