Avenger Stalker is my package ship from like 2015. Wish it were the titan, but oh well...Having played for a handful of months now, I have bought all sorts of ships in game, but recently, I just like flying my Avenger the most when solo, which is most often the case. That 1425m/s is just hilariously fast and in atmosphere when you can't handle at all because of the speed, it just makes me smile. It's not going to compete well in many categories, but it is definitely a FUN ship. Hope they add the functionality of the stasis pods on the Stalker for bounty hunting someday "soon" ... Also, that ironweave paint for the Avenger really seals the deal imo.
And don't discount the security of an animated entry ladder. No lurking players can hop aboard your ship when you use it. Unlike so many other ships that only have a ramp or elevator. Where anyone can sprint aboard your ship and cause mischief.
Exactly this! Just recently I called my Titan from the ASOP terminal and I noticed another player slipping into the elevator with me. Tried to stay behind my back and hoped I didn't notice him sneaking after me. I wasn't concerned though because I was going to enter my Titan from the cockpit ladder and knew he couldn't get into my ship. Sucks when you only have a ramp to enter your ship and can't prevent another player from getting onboard with you.

a few corrections. the Warlock doesn't have an access to the rear from the cockpit, but the stalker DOES. the stalker is just a titan with unusable (and non removable for now) pods added in the cargo bay.
This ship needs a refresh though (IMHO) 1. The multifunctional panels are badly placed, the bottom one is not even visibile, requiring to go into free look mode or having a wild fov or having a track-ir. The dash could be just a bit wider and higher, that would even grant the space for a 4th monitor, but even keeping 3, but better placed, would be great. 2. Buttons for the ramp and for the cockpit access. Having to press 'F' in the air is a bit dumb, I get it worked many years ago, but nowadays looks lazy, outdated and forgotten. 3. There are several places inside the ship that are just for aesthetic. The side in front of the bad could easily become a small closet for an armor, or a rack for one or two rifles (better both, one on the left and one on the right, there really is enough space). Inside the cargo area too, there are several useless panels that could become sits or small storages for boxes or something else. All in all a fine ship, but needs a refresh badly to stay current
That's exactly what I did - purchased the basic pack and then upgraded to Titan. Best real purchase ever! The only upgrade I recommend is the QT drive, but I chose the Atlas instead.
Hmm, you might have convinced me to give this ship a second look. I had graduated up to my freelancer or cutty red for most uses, owing largely to the larger quantum drive, but it sounds like this may be worth another look
Wow, very nice, professional video. Just subscribed... i started the game with the recent invictus sale and you put in a lot of info that took me a while find on my own. I love the look of this ship and always take a second to admire it as I round the corner of the hanger and make my way to it.
I'll die on this hill; the Avenger Titan IS the best starter ship. During the holidays, $56 is an absolute steal of a deal for any starter package. That's what I started on, personally. I'm not gonna say that the Avenger Titan is the best ship ever, but anyone looking to get into SC should absolutely start with one. You'll get to try a little bit of everything SC has to offer, for the most part. If there's a particular gameplay loop that you enjoy, then you can get into a specialized ship to fit your desired role. Also, I love that you mentioned the low claim time because I almost always claim my Titan if I'm in a spot where I quickly need a ship to get me from A to B. Even with other fantastic ships in my fleet, my Titan is still serving me well after all these years.
love the channel, saw the first few videos launch and noticed this is a quality content channel, i would for sure like to request a video for best mid game ships or even maybe some guides for specialized ship jobs.

I also prefer the 'old' 2D radar the Avenger has. Many of the 3D radars are holograms suspended above the console and are unreadable if the background is bright. Obviously CIG never tests these things other than in the blackness of space! 🙄

Unless I missed it, don't forget about modularity. The ship pages state that the ships are sold to include the EMP module, prisoner pods, etc. So far there is nothing to suggest the ship wont have this modularity, which is very exciting for Avenger owners.
I had a Titan for a while. Honestly, it's *too* good. There was never a situation in it where I felt I couldn't survive/get out of it. I actually ended up bumping myself down to a Cutter Rambler, and putting the rest of the credit towards a Hornet Ghost, so I had a dedicated combat ship and a dedicated starter. And yeah - The Rambler is NOT the best "handle anything" ship, but it makes for way more exciting "Holy shit I need to really bust my ass to get out of this" moments. Plus, it just has that "home-y" feel - Titan has a nice living quarters, but the Rambler is straight up a VW Space Conversion Van.
If they tweaked its handling in Atmosphere it would be great. I hate that at speed in atmo if you turn left or right it staggers like a drunken sailor much like the aurora does. No reason for it do do so as it actually has wings where the aurora don't. That is the only thing about it that really turns me away from it. Everything else about it is fantastic.
There is, to the best of my knowledge, one serious error in this. All stock components of all ships need to be replaced now. All stock versions are, AFAIK, the lowest HP version of each available type.
I haven't flown it much, but PVP wise, idk what it is but this thing eats bullets and dies instantly. Obviously not everyone pvps not even close, but it does communicate a weak ship. To me at least. As far as ships with "internals", vanguards seem a better choice. (Ignoring price here, just a comment on function)
Yeah I would not choose PVP in this thing. But if you're fighting a couple NPCs you've got a decent chance to win. Vanguard is better for combat. But you're also looking at nearly $300 IRL. Now if you like how the Avenger interior functions overall, save your in-game money and buy a Vanguard with aUEC. More guns & more shields but you do lose the cargo ability.
700 million and development since 2011, and I can't even keep some of the things I paid real money for. Seems like a ridiculous oversight. Games been real buggy as of yesterday.

The Stalker does have an entrance from the back area to the cockpit. The only issue is you don't get the bigger cargo space of the Titan.

Patches come and patches go but one thing seems ro always stay the same: You can't go wrong having a Titan in your hangar.

I can make a good 250k on VHRT bounties when just taking a few box’s of drugs and selling them with the Titan. I like using deadbolts.
