hi... I need help with this Thrustmaster T128P PS5 steering wheel, I want to buy it for my nephew ,I think it will be difficult for him to change gears on the steering wheel. Is it possible not to use the gears on the steering wheel? set it to be an automatic gear? Thank you very much.
Got one, last week. The wheel quality itself, is worth a 5/10, the pedals 3/10, the value, I'd put at 6/10. I got it for £119, reduced from £169, in a sale, which I thought was good value. As a kids wheel and pedal set, it might be ok. But you get what you pay for though and you can't help but feel, that anyone who has ever tried, a high end wheel, will play with this for 5 minutes, no 2 minutes and say, this really is a pile of junk. I'd say, if you know you will use a wheel for years and years, at least 3 or 4 days in a week or more, then just save up as much as you can and get a decent high end wheel. The only people who will defend this, are those who don't wish to think, they've wasted their money.
Stupidest take ever. And I hear it tossed around by a lot of people that apparently are elitists or gatekeeping or perhaps packing a small size and talking trash. The core problem with this stupid take that an entire elitist mindset group of people out there share, is: A) that by the time someone saves up to buy a more expensive wheel, they could have been enjoying something like this instead of a controller. And in fact it may push back that saving up period since they now HAVE a wheel and not forced to play on a fkng controller. It is much more enjoyable to be a little more patient on a wheel like this, than on a fkng controller, and as a result actually save up for an even longer time since you already are enjoying yourself before going to something really much better. B) if someone is not interested in spending that much on racing peripherals to begin with, even if they play 7 days a week it makes zero difference, dishing out more cash is not an option. Telling them "don't buy this because there is better" is retarded. They will just not buy a wheel at all at that point if they actually believe it is THAT crap and only a much larger budget of double or more will suffice. Not everybody lives in their parents basement, and instead has bills and other priorities to pay for day in day out than buying a fkng racing setup. And not every peripheral costs the same from region to region. Some companies alone for example HORI with its 100 buck RW costs a whopping 60 extra fkng bucks at least in some countries due to customs. You can imagine how much some more expensive wheels cost. For some people that want the full driving sensation with FFB and not spend much on it, your comment sounds like gibberish. C) "can't help but feel that anyone that has ever tried a high end wheel would not like this".... why do you care what others have "felt" or played on? You buying the wheel for yourself or to walk around in small-dk energy to boast to your friends your setup? Again man, a comment packing a lot of smalldk energy in it. If YOU specifically haven't played extensively on a high end wheel to be used to the good quality FFB, you would never know and will be more than happy with a wheel like this. So who cares at that point? Nobody but your ego or that friend with low self esteem that will tell you "yeah but its not the good FFB man" whilst themselves not having even bought a 10 dollar controller. lol. Simple life advice, if you have those types of friends, its about time you made new friends. Which then circles back to point A, you could be enjoying this as a first setup and if you feel it is actually worth it over time, depending on priorities, or perhaps you find yourself in a period where the price range is more accessible for you, you make the jump and all is ok. Until that point, you haven't been jerking around on a fkng controller. You are the type that are seemingly "increasing" the idea of the cost to even GET INTO racing games because of all that mindset, people hear it, and if anything more people say "fk it I aint wasting money on a fkng game or simulation peripheral, I won't buy a wheel at all", rather than listen to a comment as stupid as this and think "oh wow, yes maybe I should dish out 700 bucks instead for something high end"... Meanwhile they could have been ignoring a stupid take as this, bought the budget wheel, and actually have had a lot of fun. It used to be "don't buy a wheel without FFB, its not worth it" (when honestly that is the true entry level and even that is better than a controller), now it has evolved into "don't buy a budget FFB wheel"... I think what you all mean to say is "I suck at life so I need to flex somehow thus find downplaying something cheaper out there makes me feel better about myself so end of the day even if they make a 200 dollar super wheel that performs like a 500 dollar wheel I will still find something to btch about to downplay it"... I think that is what all of you are ultimately reaaaally trying to say but since you are having a hard time finding the words, you can copy paste it from here and go along and share it. What pay for is what you get. Telling someone that a >200 dollar wheel is not as good as a 400 dollar wheel is as captain obvious as it gets. Really? Wow! We never would of guessed. Let me see now... Should I renovate the house and fix that north side that needs changes, or should I put that money in a 1k setup. OMG you are so right, I will waste my money on a sim rig instead! GENIUS!

Can’t get it to connect to PlayStation 5 have it hooked up with cables
is it compatible on gt7? becouse i dont see the weel name in the settings
Pretty sure he said it is
If you still want to know (it's been 7 months) it does work perfectly with GT7 & it classes the T128 as a T-GT.
Is the wheel meant to make a noise with the force feedback that isn’t vibration but a sort of rubbing noise
Thats just the gears that make the force feedback, they all do it, give it a while and itll break in
my monitor starts at 10cm from the desk, would this steering wheel be too big for me to see the screen or not?
