- Bluey's new episode The Sign is the biggest episode in the entire series. With the Heelers moving out and everyone preparing for a wedding, The Sign continues to prove that Bluey is one of the best cartoons of our generation. What makes it so special, though? Where do we go from here?

Fun Fact: one of the people that works on Bluey said they would make a Fully Featured Bluey Movie if this episode gets a lot of attention by fans

Considering it aired globally on the same day, we’ll get the answer at the end of the week

I'm impressed how a cartoon made for a pre-school audience can move any audience up to adults.
It did a great job teaching kids a few life lessons!
-you never know what the future may hold
-dont dwell too hard in the present but enjoy each moment
-the butterfly effect. Things happen for a reason. You may not know the reason yet but one day one moment you will.
The later is the whole epi.
-bluey is told the story about "we will see" in class after voicing concern for her moving to the class
-frisky runs off after learning she is also moving away and calls off the wedding
-this prompts chili to look for her n takes the kids so they don't tell anyone else
-bluey has to sit up front as the 3 younger kids are in the back
-this gets chili pulled over by a cop who happened to pull over frisky. He tells them where she was
-they go there but miss her due to bluey finding a coin and the kids wanting some smoothies
-they then pull over to clean a smoothy spill and while parked spot friskys car
-they follow it until socks has to pee at the park
-there they accidentally let in a butterfly
-they pull over to let it out where I leads chili to the sign that hints where frisky is at
-they find her n while the adults talk bluey uses her coin to use the binoculars
-it gets stuck thanks to muffin and the family heads home leaving it behind
-the dog family that bought bluey house unstick it and sees a better house for sale
-the house for sale happens to be of bluey 2 friends (who's seperated parents get together hence the move)
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would like a word with you…

This show is the best thing to happen to children's programming since MLP:FIM. I watch Bluey every day with my nephew and his little twin sisters. Every time Bluey comes on, they're always "Uncle! Uncle! Bluey is on!" and I happily oblige. It's a show that not only targets kids, but adults as well. It's that good. Long live Bluey! :D
Thank you so much for bringing up FIM! I was hoping this channel would bring it up more often.
Eh idk... I think Bluey is SO much better than MLP. I used to watch MLP when I was younger but I've grown out of it now, I really don't like it anymore. I don't think it's as mature as Bluey is or the other shows I watch. I haven't watched it in a long time so I don't remember very well but I just feel like it wasn't that mature... the show mainly focuses on friendship "oooh friendship!! Let's sing and dance :D" I'm not a fan of that tbh. It's corny and cheesy honestly. I don't exactly blame people for thinking it's a show for little girls. Maybe there were episodes that were kinda dark and not super corny but again, I don't really remember. Now whenever I think of the show I cringe.. kinda brings back bad memories for me. Takes me back to all the dumb stuff I made on the Internet and all that. I did see the G5 movie and it was alright, better than G4 at least but it's still pretty corny. I wish MLP was more than just friendship and talked about more serious topics. I'm sorry for ranting about all of this. I saw you mention MLP and I really wanted to say something. I'm not trying to start an argument either, just wanted to let out my thoughts on this show. It's ok if you like the show but I'm not a fan of it anymore :') I don't exactly get why people still like it tho... there are much better options imo
@@pikasheep Maybe Bluey is more of a spiritual successor to FIM. FIM is the show that I started going through a total of four years ago and I loved it, because it really was for adults too. It had relatable lessons, nostalgia for older cartoon series plus progress from were they stagnated, and a fanbase that didn't stop promoting the show.
During and after keeping up with a franchise, what I needed was a way to enjoy its other aspects and concepts, along with the characters. To that I say, the show itself is only half of life as a brony. The other half is the fan fiction, fanon series', music videos and everything else we came up with. So much so that, during production, Hasbro embraced the fandom, but could not keep up with it after ending the series.
I still have not watched Pony Life or any of Generation 5, because I learned Hasbro respectively did not and could not repeat the spectacle of FIM, especially so soon. For that, I see I need to keep living up to it myself: I have a full-time job now, but I have so many ideas for new music and compilation videos. Is the Bluey fandom anything like this yet?

final season Series 0:49
@@pikasheepThe later seasons were surprisingly intense and had amazing action scenes which is bizarre for me to say for a show like that.
The moment Bandit gets rid of sign at the end was very satisfying and tearjerking. I really didn't want the family to move. 😢
I feel like it's a cool Idea for a season final and to see what happens once they move has alot of potential
Can't wait
@@imanaalsayegh At the end of the episode "Camping", Bluey returns to the campsite she and Jean-Luc played in as a pre-teen/teenager. If they're going to make the Heelers move away for real, they'd first have to age the characters up to that point in order for it to be canonically consistent. If they move away and then move back, it betrays the emotional impact of such an event by rendering it mute. If they can still reach the campsite from wherever they move, they could probably still reach Bluey's school without a problem, which would make moving not a big enough deal for it to have any impact.

If you also counted the Sesame Street episode where Mr. Hooper died, due to the real life passing of his actor, will always be the most iconic saddest moments in children's television. Having Bid Bird cry and saying "Goodbye, Mr. Looper" one last time puts tears in my eyes, more sadder when Big Bird said "Thank You, Kermit" at Jim Henson's Funeral.
I loved that episode so much!
and the death of Fred Rogers (RIP)
It’s sad that throughout the whole episode, Bingo didn’t care that the house was being sold. But at the end when she realized it meant they had to move to another city (and it meant she wouldn’t be able to see her friend Lila), she tried pulling the sign out of the ground but it didn’t work. It's Disney what do you expect?
Disney doesn’t produce it, they only have distribution rights, Blueys animation is based in Australia, it’s up to them
The crew behind Bluey iirc are taking a break, until they're ready to come back to make more, so I already consider that a good thing, if it means the show hopefully doesn't suffer from seasonal rot or greed.

Screw realistic endings. Calypso is right, we have too many sad endings already. I am so glad the Heelers are staying where they are, and that we get to see them for much more time to come.
Never thought I would see the day where Calypso from Twisted Metal gets brought up in a Bluey video
Preach dude. It really bothers me how some people actually wanted them to move and experience change cuz it’s realistic. Well screw them im not accepting that change it’s just too much.
And it's actually not truly far from reality, these endings can happen FRL too after all 'the world is a magical place', but we'll see how these events develop.

The song at the end is called "Lazarus Drug" by Meg Washington. Meg Washington is also the one who voices Calypso. Listen to the full song wity headphones if you haven't already.
No wonder the singer sounded familiar
The second half of the song in the episode also has some different instrumentation than the full version (which fits the additional emotions involved in that part of the scene)

this show handles topics better than most. On par with Sesame Street, dignity in a child’s ability to learn helps the show expand to adult audiences too. ❤
The ending of "The Sign" made it very Titanic-esque because of its emotional moments.
For me, very Smile Pretty Cure-Like.
It's nice to know that bluey knows the pain we all go through
Joe Brumm and his team really created something special. Not just with this episode, but the whole show. Kids’ animation being taken seriously as a medium to tell emotionally mature but fun stories warms my heart. Because kids deserve shows like Bluey. Shows that don’t talk down to them and includes episodes which helps kids learn about difficult situations they might find themselves in and how to process them.

The message of "we'll see" is good to teach kids. You never know what the future holds. While the current moment might be happy or sad its just one moment of many. It may last it may not. It isnt much use to dwell on the one moment when there is more ahead of you to adventure into ❤️ enjoy each moment and go into the next with optimism and wonder.

This episode is so important to me. I moved to a new state not so long ago, and I still miss my old home. This episode broke me, because I related to much to Bluey and her desire to stay where they were, and doing everything she can to not move.
My family and I ended up moving, and sometimes I wish I got the ending that Bluey had, but “We’ll see” is a good reminder to keep moving forward, no matter what happeneds.
I cried way too hard on this episode 😭😭 I'm someone who struggled with moving and it hurt me a lot seeing the best house ever not being me and my families one anymore :,
Change is also another thing I struggle with and it's rlly hard yk?
But this episode is now one of my comfort episodes ❤❤
I like how everyone got a happy ending of the episode. The heeler family isn't moving, Frisky and Rad are moving to Queensland, so they'll be closer to the family. Brandy is pregnant after the onesies episode made it seem like she was infertile. I can't wait to see Season 4 of Bluey.
I’m hearing about how people don’t like how they all got happy endings cuz it’s “unrealistic.” Seriously people need to get over themselves and not project themselves on these characters cuz these characters aren’t them. They have completely different lives.
