    kudos to Jokic's team mates for constantly moving for easy shots. it would be so tempting to just stand back in awe when he is working. "sharing is caring" applies here very nicely. when role players share in the successes as much as the stars, it emboldens them to continue their efforts even further.

  • @Colinkrauss1
    @Colinkrauss1 Год назад +43

    It’s amazing what just an extra couple tenths of a second for the offense can lead to. With the way Jokic can frame or mask or fake what he’s actually about to do, now all the shooters are a little more open. All the cutters have a little easier layup finishes. All the lobs are just a bit more uncontested. All the fast breaks are just a little more unpredictable.
    And he’s just amazing at it.

    • @domskillet5744
      @domskillet5744 Год назад +6

      The weird part is that his movement being slow actually helps because he literally has more time to hold the defense in limbo as he decides what to do.

    • @Colinkrauss1

      @@domskillet5744 for real. That adds another 1 or 2 tenths of a second.
      Also, he can regularly do things that are even better than all these examples we’ve said. Right at the beginning of the vid:
      The through the legs pass probly bought Brown an entire second for a cleaner finish.
      And 0:31, I mean KCP isn’t even that open, but adding a half-second to the Ds reaction with that pass made that possession go from like okay to awesome in terms of shot quality.

If you have somebody like Nikola running it they can’t be stopped offensively he shoots lights out, and his teammate is getting dunks or wide-open threes, plus he rebounds like Dennis Rodman, in my opinion, is the best thing to happen to the NBA in 20 years

    For anyone who thinks Larry Bird wouldn't dominate in today's game, I simply respond with "The Joker". The only difference, Joker (Nikola Jokić) is 1 inch taller, 60 lbs more, and slower. Both have a high IQ of the game on the floor and both are greater shooters, but giving the nod to Bird though. Joker wing span seems longer than Bird to make him more effective in the paint as a post up player.

    In Nuggets team everybody is expected to receive the ball at any milisecond, because if you are free and open Jokic will find you even if it looks he cant see you, he will find you and that's a fact, and all you need to do is score the point and that's it, everybody happy.

    4:37 my abs funniest one imo is when GS gets excited about making a 2 only being one behind with 14secs left in the 4Q and Jokic immediately drops a dime to match that 😂😂😂
