    so, part 1 is getting to the bearings, part 2 is inserting the new bearings and putting it back together. the hardest part, removing the bearings themselves, is skipped?

      hardest part is getting the axle to slide out of the carrier

    its a "No No" to pound on the axle threads. The end of the axle with "mushroom" and the axle knut will become stuck making the axle useless
