The buy once cry once thing reminded me of what my mum has always told me, but in Italian: "meno spende chi più spende" which translates to "the one who spends more, spends less". It's my philosophy as well :)
It's been 7 years, and I still come back to your content, because you do rad stuff like this! Reviews can be so boring when the person is just talking. You took it to a whole other level with the added skit. I love it!
Dude, I was just rewatching your vlogs this morning and wondering what you're up to! My spidey senses must've known you were gonna upload something today. Anyway, great video! Love the "buy once, cry once" quote- I'm gonna have to start using that one
Informative video, keep up the great work sir. I have 3 base camp duffels, XS, S, L. I cant recommend them highly enough for any and every application. The better half uses the XS for work and gym, and I use S for work and travel. As a guide, I can fit a week of clothes in an S (if you pack smart, wear bulky shoes and clothes etc), and because of how the straps are oriented, I have no concerns of anyone getting in it while I am on a crowded subway. All 3 bags still look brand new even though they are nearing 10 years old, which is a testament to how well built they are. As Josh suggests in the video, I would not swim with this bag, or throw it in a river, but anything under this and you are good. Mud, rain, snow, no problem, hose it off and you are good to go. Things I like: thick and tough 1000d PVC, chunky zippers, heavy duty grab handles in logical places, this is built to last, no failures to report on any part of any of them as yet. Things I would like: a divider would be welcome, as would upgraded backpack straps and fastenings, a duffel strap, more zip stash pockets (my S has one zip pocket on the outside, but there is capacity to fit another three), water bottle pockets. I have looked at the base camp voyager, as it seems like an upgraded base camp, but it forgoes the 1000d for lighter duty, 300d and 840d, material. I like the tank aspect of the regular base camp. For folks looking at a serious bag that will handle anything, including being the go-to for carry on only airline travel due to its low weight and cavernous capacity, this is it.
So i have a NF rolller bag which is a great carry one and was looking for a versatile duffel to use on say weekend trips but also be able to accomodate more kit if needed , as i tend to overpack. I was torn between the S and M and went with the M , but im worried its just too big. any thoughts or experience with the base camp series?
I feel the same way about the shoulder strap… and now if they removed the cross strap handles then it’s just a backpack. It’s a shame bc other wise it’s a perfect bag imo
Buy once, cry once. Love it. Hey FYI i think most people who lock bags are concerned about a drug runner slipping drugs in your bag and then pinching the bag from you at the destination airport. Apparently that is a thing
Could the medium fit a pair of shoes, thai shin pads, 2 pairs of boxing gloves , mma gloves bjj gi, towel , a pair t shirts , shorts, protein shake , water bottle
hi, I looking forward to buy a Duffel north face but with 2 or more color (without black !!!) I didn't find some colored duffel. Can you help me to find one ?
I have no need for a duffel bag but I am sold
i really missed your vids, dude. seeing a notification from “josh sobo” made my day and took me back to 2014!

You surely got me in the first 15 seconds!!! I immediately had to subscribe! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, missed these
Missed Sobo vids man!
Hey thanks for the terrific review. Have u ever tried the Thule Chase? . Which one do you think is better? Thanks a lot
YES this duffel is awesome!
Loved your video. What would you recommend for a single strap?
I have the same exact duffel bag! It was a great purchase. Gotta use it in Korea and trekking and gym.
Nice review!

Not in the market to buy a bag but would love a full short film about Josh Sobo the bank robber
Hey, where do you recommend we hook the shoulder strap to on the bag? And do you know where we can buy a shoulder strap?
Yes Sobo, big garden state fan had to do a double take
very positive review :) thanks
sickest duffel bag review of all time.
Great video, thanks!
Great review💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I’ve been using mine for over 10 years.
Thanks for the review, just as a reference, how tall are you?

can you carry on this on a plane?
The get away car is a slow jeep😂😂😂
hi, I looking forward to buy a Duffel north face but with 2 or more color (without black !!!) I didn't find some colored duffel. Can you help me to find one ?
You think it will pass as a carry on in my flight? Specifically a Spirit one
I have the Kaws x TNF collab one 😄
Hey man, just got this bag and I’m pissed there’s no single shoulder strap. You said you were going to make one, did you? If you did how did you?
Is that Tulsa sentence a reference to FRIENDS?
All Northface stuff is pretty good stuff.
One important question: you can carry the medium duffel as a free carry on in planes?
the SMALL size would probably be better.
Nice vid it looks like an Action movie.
Nice Review! Is the M size small enough to use as a carry-on for flights?
Nope, gotta get the S, but it still has like 50litres
@@MertKleebach I got it! Thanks for the reply
very nice
Has anyone ever said that to you remind them of Anthony Jeselnik the comedian? You have some of his tones in voice & looks. Not a bad thing!
What part of El Salvador did you go to?
Can it fit under a plane seat?
If you guys just read this and want to buy it, make sure you get a rare color
*It's good enough to rob a bank* 😂
How tall is Josh? Trying to reference the size of the bag when it's on his back
Im 6'2"
Thanks man. Would you take feel confident taking it on a plane as carry on luggage? Cool video. Keep up the cinematic intros.
Does the bag fit under the seat on a flight?
Imagine not wearing a sick north face Nuptse jacket whole reviewing this duffel bag
buy once cry once 💯
Are you suggesting we should get this bag and rob a bank?
