Bonus drone footage! I purchased a similar tire plug kit about 20-years ago and last year I ran out of plugs. The one's that I've used have sealant on them, and therefore while I've not used additional sealant I've never had one leak. You don't need to let any air out of the tire. Once you get the reamer into the tire, instead of rotating it, push/pull to help open the hole so that you don't struggle as much getting the plug in. You shouldn't have to open the plug tool with the flat-blade screwdriver, just get the plug edge started and then pull the plug through with a needle-nose plier used to pull out the screw/nail. The tire inflator seemed to work pretty well. I think Project Farm did a video comparing several of them. Pretty cold up there. Since you have a hydronic boiler already in your basement for heat, you might want to consider insulating your garage, converting the boiler to use a mix of water/antifreeze and adding an additional heating zone for the garage. A nice hydronic unit-heater with thermostat and blower motor will throw a great amount of heat and bring that garage up to temperature in short order. The antifreeze keeps the loop from freezing when you have the garage zone "off", or if you're away and lose power. Stay warm up there!
