Heyo, there was only one other occurrence where back-to-back runs had the exact same time - Sep 16th, 2021, where your 6th and 7th run tied at 31:12. Crazily, on that same day, your 10th and 11th runs were only 1 second apart, at 24:44 and 24:43 respectively. There have only been 4 other occurrences of back-to-back runs being 1 second apart, namely: Sep 27th, 2021 runs 8 and 9 - 29:47 and 29:46 Dec 31st, 2023 runs 7 and 8 - 23:37 and 23:36 Apr 15th, 2024 runs 2 and 3 - 21:18 and 21:19 Apr 22nd, 2024 runs 4 and 5 - 24:54 and 24:55
I subbed while you were posting the speedrun of the day earlier this year. Then I found out you were doing the 100k speedruns no reset and I thought "I'll stick around!" Keep up the good work Couriway!!
This video was sooo well made! From the graphics to a honestly very clever way of narration (the decision to go silent during the sub 15 worked amazingly!) the video felt great as a whole. Only thing I'd also like to see as someone who regularly watches the streams is a mention of the date when the runs happened so that I can place it in time more easily
Really enjoying both these recaps and the basic runs I've been trying myself. Been a long time since I'd played a lot so I'm really slow but seeing how you play these no reset runs is helping me a ton.
Dang. I was really excited for a return of couriway main channel content. This series seemed like a great way to make your challenge into content. If its too much work per update video, i think it would be fair for you to cut alot more out. Only talk about the best and worst runs or the day maybe.
your beating minecraft 100,000 times no resets are the only streams that i watch so keep them up please (i do know how mentally draining beating such an rng game like minecraft 100,000 can be)
Fun Fact from the author of the Notes: In the 1.21 run Couri made things worse for himself by not installing Sodium because it might mess with eray for bastions. The problem was that without Sodium you can't use Planifolia, a legal mod for gamma 5 in 1.18+. Eray was still scuffed without Sodium so he had no benefits at all from that.
this is insaneeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! the runs in the recent versions are a combination of how cute and amazing is and how bad they are for speedrun 😭 I still hope we will get a mace in one of those c:
Hihi, Love the run reports keep it up. Just a note, your audio track is always delayed. I don't know why, but for both this video and the last run report the audio was delayed ~250ms and its pretty distracting. Maybe check your export settings.
I think the length of this recap was pretty good. I think the first recap was too long (and I don’t think I finish all the way through the previous one) but this length of video feels about right.
Your videos are getting better, man! It's a shame that Minecraft speedrun videos aren’t as popular as the lame ones. People should be more interested in speedruns because it is a great way to play the game
I've been following speedrunning for a while, but never seen the bedding the dragon done like that with iron fences. Can someone explain that new set up?
ground zero is a strategy that allows you to kill the dragon before it perches by aggroing it on the player but not allowing it line of sight (thanks to the iron bar cage). it's slower than a zero cycle but faster than a one cycle on average, and it can be done in all ends, but it requires more beds and of course the iron bars
Please make a video, (or reply to this someone, please please please,) explaining how you do triangulation, that includes how to travel through the nether in the right direction. I know how to measure the angle, but when I test it in creative going the same angle in the nether, but I can never get It right. Also, how do you know the coords in the nether if you are going diagonally. (I'm new to speedrunning and I think this is one of the things that will greatly improve my time.) Also, great video you should definitely keep making these.
Couri uses Axis travel which has a spreadsheet to help him calculate how far he needs to go. I think if you look up “Axis Travel Ninjabrain” there should be a RUclips video explaining it
I'm confused- when you get tricked by a treasure "trevor" bastion, can you not theck the entities in your render distance to look for piglin brutes? Wouldn't that tell you you're otw to a treasure bastion instead of a fortress?
Some feedback couriway: please revert back to the style of vids you did with the 1000 no reset runs, where you pick just a few runs with a specific highlight like a sub 15, over 1h, crazy block clutch, insane seed or something. And let your original recording do the speaking instead of a lot of voiceovers. Those were a lot more entertaining. I just don’t get much out of these new style of videos.
those were made by Jake, Couri's editor for a long time. idk if Couri plans on finding a new editor, but as far as I know he makes these videos by himself now edit: oh, this video is not edited by Couri, sry
assuming an average run time of 20 minutes with no downtime inbetween, and playing 8 hours EVERY day, you'll complete 24 runs in a day. It'll take you 4166 days of following this schedule every single day to get 100000 runs... u sure u wanna do this? or am i missing something here lol first time seeing this

@@Toocool4schoo okay my fault i just kinda assumed that it wouldnt have THAT specific info on it
"lovemathboy" living up to the name lmao
To save the pickaxe on the #18 run it's such a magnificent play I can't. Only no reset mind is capable
15:52 highlighting the pearls in the hotbar is a really nice touch here
great video :D i enjoyed

Thanks so much!!
There is so much effort put into these videos it is wild. Crazy under appreciated. Keep up the good work man I love it.
Glad you like them!
loved how you foreshadowed the sub 15 and made the kind of montage of the run where you slowly realize the foreshadowing was actually a foreshadow
Music around 17:00 is from Celeste, level 2, Old Site, by Lena Raine
also known under “Resurrections” on Spotify (by Lena Raine ofc).
i heard this and literally had to go listen to the soundtrack again, so gooood

I remember at my old house watching your videos when I went to sleep and woke up, keep going on youtube and keep up the great work!
thanks once again couri. really enjoying these recaps. one thing i'd wish for is seeing a longer replay of the livestream when something wild happens
honestly loved the commentary
video was pretty fun and relaxing to watch :)
New Couri uploads always make me happy!! Gonna tune into the stream after watching🥰
Thank you!!
Big fan of this form of video formatting style opposed to the other no reset recap videos
I wish these came sooner these are so fun to watch keep doing your stuff couri ❤️🔥
using zinnia theme for that 15 min run was hype, still one of my favorite pokemon themes of all time
These are so nice as someone who doesn’t get to catch the streams as often anymore. Thank you and great vid as always

very useful for people who can't make it to the streams
Love to see these recaps from u looking forward to them in the future keep it up ❤❤
Saving the pickaxe from burning is so smart. I saw one other comment mentioning, but I still had to comment it myself, it made me so impressed.
I love these videos so much
Also hell yeah, the Celeste music!
Couriway is AMAZING at speedrunning!
Love the new editing style!
13:46 and 21:31 description doesn’t specify exact music so it’d be great if someone could tell me the names lol. thanks
song at 13:46 is Resurrections from the Celeste OST by Lena Raine, incredible soundtrack!! (even better in its original context)

Just started playing Minecraft I’m 27 which I played sooner it’s so much fun just subbed to your channel after being frustrated with the bastion
he was so locked in in that fifth run on the second day holy
Love the videos! However I would like it if maybe we could get a few complete runs cuz I love watching full runs 😃

13:44 How was that "hit the ground too hard" and not "fell out of the world"?
i pearled into the tower trying to save my stuff so the pearl killed me
13:15 "nearly"? you DID throw out a stack of gold
I love waking up and seeing couriways face.
Does anyone know where to watch the couples counselling event? (the one that couri was filling in for with fienberg)
why does sharp 5 iron sword only have 6 attack damage? 20:16

20:17 sharp 5 iron sword is crazy
Why is this guys slowest speedrun faster than my fastest speedrun.
Honestly you doing this has inspired me to do no reset AA. No idea if i actually will, but yeah

enjoying the shorter videos!
can you make the lighting on your thumbnail face more contrasty? peepoCute
Let's say you have a average of 20 minutes per run then it will take you about 4 years to finish 100000 runs. Good luck🎉🎉
bro why every time i sse u either on twitch or youtube you have a new hairstyle
WE SO BACK!
100,000 runs? At world record speed (7 mins) doing runs for 14 hours straight per day, it would take 2.28 years.
If I got an hour run I would be happy
