Go, Novak!! The greatest tennis player in history and a man of principles, integrity and extraordinary courage. A man who stuck two fingers up at the bullies and had the last laugh.
I just think how funny people's minds work. Before the big three people talked about Sampras being the greatest of all time, ranked in front of Laver, and the reason because Sampras has more slam titles, but then the big three showed up suddenly Sampras ranked behind Laver... ? just exactly what are the standard measures? should slam titles be the only consideration in this goat debate? Or just put everything into a count?

I know you`re just a frustrated troll but I`ll still give you something more to worry about here. Since you mentioned a WEAK era here are some facts to consider : -Federer won his first 10 grand slams against : Philipoussus, Safin, Roddick, Hewitt, Roddick, Agassi (at age 35), Baghdatis, Nadal (but at age 20), Roddick and Gonzalez. Throughout his entire career he won only 4 slam finals against Nadal and Djokovic. Three against Nadal (when the Spaniard was 20, 21 and 32 years old) and only ONE against Djokovic when the Serb was 20 years old (in 2007). Federer won a total of 20 slams and the total number of slams his opponents in those finals held at the time of the final was 36 (1,8 slams per finalist). The average ATP ranking of his opponents in the finals was 15. Never won a slam final against the #1 ranked player, won 5 slams against players outside the top 10. -Djokovic won his first 10 slams against : Tsonga, Murray, Nadal, Nadal, Nadal, Murray, Federer, Murray, Federer, Federer. Throughout his career he won 4 slam finals against Nadal, 4 against Federer and 5 against Murray. That is 13 slams against players from the Big 4. Djokovic won a total of 21 slams and the total number of slams his opponents in those finals held at the time of the final was 126 (6,0 slams per finalist). The average ATP ranking of his opponents in the finals was 7.05. The level of competition Djokovic faced was much higher and all tennis players admit it. Won just 2 slams against players outside the top 10. There is no way around statistics and this is how it goes : - Against top 10 players : -Djokovic played 347 matches, won 240 (69,2%), lost 107. By far the best record and counting. Of all the matches Djokovic played in his career a whopping 28,1% was against top 10 players. -Federer played 347 matches, won 224 (64,6%), lost 123. 22,7% of his matches were against top 10. Nadal played 288 matches, won 186 (64,6%), lost 102. 22,4% of his matches were against top 10. - Against top 5 players : -Djokovic played 188 matches (15,2%), won 114 of them (60,6%), lost 74. -Federer played 179 matches (11,7%), won 104 of them (58,1%), lost 75. -Nadal played 154 matches (12%), won 93 (60,6%), lost 61. Overall, Federer is THIRD best. Djokovic is just a year younger than Nadal (they are almost the SAME age) but you only blame Djokovic for being younger than Roger, LOL. All things considered Roger was probably lucky to win so much before Nadal and Djokovic matured. There are no ifs, just metrics, and Roger is losing in almost every category. @@truthtruth9056 Repeating the names of Roddick, Hewitt, etc doesn`t add to their success. And stop cherry-picking. YOU mentioned a weak era, not me, and I simply told you off on the subject. You forgot Philipoussis. You also mentioned that you only deal with facts and the truth and I threw them at you. Were any of the above close to Andy Murray? Agassi was an all-time great, true, but Andre was an old man (35) when Roger beat him in that slam final. You did say Roger was losing to Nadal and Djokovic because of his age didn`t you? Stop cherry-picking. Bottom line, the average ranking of the players Roger played in slam finals was 15. Djokovic faced an average ranking of 7.05 and Nadal 6.41. The number of slams their opponents in slam finals won (AT THE TIME OF THE FINALS) was 126 for Djokovic (6 per finalist), 110 for Nadal (5 per finalist) and only 36 for Federer (1.8 per finalist). Obviously, in his big-winning years, Roger was playing against washed out players, good but not great players or players who were just beginning a great career. You can put your Roddick (1 slam), Hewitt (2 slams) and Saffin (2 slams) in the same basket with Wawrinka (3 slams in great competition), DelPo and Cilic. Murray was way better than all of them. So, any objective tennis fan will tell you that Federer faced a bit weaker opposition than Nadal and Djokovic did and still ended up behind them. You can`t ignore statistics. Just open Tennis records of the Open Era and you will see that Roger is losing in all categories. Nadal and Djokovic are pushing him out, just like he did to Sampras. He`s already history but the media still hold their darling high. Do you know why? Because he is still getting huge amounts of money from some companies for advertising them and they don`t like paying that much for a has-been. So, they put a bit of pressure on the media. Sampras is history, Borg, Connors...Guess what, so is Federer. Third best player of all time.
@@truthtruth9056 You can cherry-pick all you like but Federer never beat Nadal at Roland Garros, not even the crippled Nadal as you say. Djokovic beat him there twice. On clay Federer beat Nadal only in Madrid. Federer never won the Masters 1000 in Monte Carlo or in Rome and he never beat Nadal there either. Djokovic won Monte Carlo twice, Madrid three times and Rome six times. At every clay slam or Masters 1000 Djokovic beat Nadal at least twice. Federer won only two matches against Nadal on clay. Both in Madrid, because of the altitude and greater speed of the ball. One of those two wins was on the slippery blue clay. Face it, Federer couldn`t touch Nadal on clay over his whole career. The only player who could push Nadal on clay was Djokovic. When people talk about all-time greats they talk by using metrics. That`s why your Federer is in front of Borg. In fact, that`s the only reason. Nobody cares that Borg retired when he was 26, played with a wooden racquet and traveled to Australia to play the Australian Open only ONCE. Nobody cares how much Borg WOULD HAVE WON. Only WHAT he won counts. So the THIRD BEST player of all time gets to be in front of Borg. End of story.

@@vijay00071 agree. There are just more legends with better stats and history than murray. I thought murray would be top 10 too but when i thought about it more there are just more better legends. If murray played in a different era he would have won much more slams and titles in his prime imo
Go, Novak!! The greatest tennis player in history and a man of principles, integrity and extraordinary courage. A man who stuck two fingers up at the bullies and had the last laugh.
22 here it comes
I just think how funny people's minds work. Before the big three people talked about Sampras being the greatest of all time, ranked in front of Laver, and the reason because Sampras has more slam titles, but then the big three showed up suddenly Sampras ranked behind Laver... ? just exactly what are the standard measures? should slam titles be the only consideration in this goat debate? Or just put everything into a count?
Federer and Borg are my favourite players forever
Federer GOAT. Cheers from Serbia
Djokovic may be the GOAT, but I would venture to say that outside of his ardent supporters, most people would rather see Federer play rather than Djokovic. Federer is an artist. Mozart compared to Djokovic's Salieri.
djokovic has now 23 grand slams after winning the rolland garros and the australian open
RF "THE GREATEST MAGICIAN", RN " THE CLAY KING", NJ "THE BIGGEST FIGHTER".
To qualify for GOAT one must win one ATP finals and Nadal has not yet won one
Surely olympics are more important

If we were just going to go off slams alone then yes Rafa would be the 2nd greatest player of all time, however Roger was always a more complete player than Rafa. Won more slams than Rafa at every slam besides RG of course. Roger also held more weeks at number one showing Rogers dominance more across all surfaces.
For me it’s
1. Nole 🐐
2. Roger 🐐
3. Rafa 🐐
Nole is the goat of tennis, Federer is the god of tennis
Finally someone smart.
Margaret Court has more grand slams with 24 so does Novak Djokovic 24. But im gonna go with roy emerson greatest tennis player all time held grand slam record for 30 years
Ahí faltan de forma clara Ken Rossewall y Pancho González. Y van fuera Agassi y McEnroe.

Federer is the máster

Why is it so difficult to say that Novak is the Goat?! It simply the truth.
Hehehe this is not even question who is GOAT if there is more then 1 GOAT then Novak is WOLF 🐺.
QUESTION ❓ is .. who is number 2 . I personally think Roger then Nadal . But if Rafa gets 2or3 more GS that are not on clay . He could be considered as nb.2
He is already no.2 no body cares your opinion lol I wrote just to remind you

Federer is the goat
Nadal vs Djokovic their h2h from 2006 until 2010 16-7 easy win for nadal
Djokovic vs Federer from 2006-2010, Federer easily beats Djokovic 13-6 in their h2h in favor of Roger, this was before Roger hits 30+ age
2005-2010
Roger 12 slams
Nadal 9 slams
Djoko 1 slam lmao!
Djokovic just really started winning when Nadal became injury prone and Federer also got older
djokovic was punching bag of federer and nadal before federer hits age 30 and nadal became injury prone
Thats why djokovic can never be the goat lol
Novak was almost the same age of nadal but nadal had like 9 slams already in 2010 and djoko already went to 2007 us open finals and won 2008 ao grand slam title so this is just a proof that djoko already playing at a high level thats why the "still young" excuse dont make sense, the truth is he just couldnt handle those when those 2 are still at their best playing at a high level and djoko was 21 22 23 age in 2008 2009 2010 good prime age for tennis fed and nadal already had many grand slam title at that age while djoko only 1, this is just a proof that djoko couldnt handle those 2 when they are still at their best and djoko only started winning when those 2 declines got older out of prime and became injury prone lol
Nadal started with injuries in 2010 and continues to play tennis with those injuries next 12 years
Logically 😆
@Far Away nadal from 2005-2010 was the best version of nadal who was lightning fast and can return any shot tue nadal who went to wimbledon finals 4x 2006 2007 and won it in 2008 and 2010 unlike the bulky injury prone nadal that would end up losing against 200+ low rank seeded opponent in wimbledon since 2012-2017
@Copaceanu Ionut Bobi yeah djoko can lead to a high level because he had no young prime federer nadal caliber opponent instead his toughest opponent was injury prone past prime nadal,
When federer was old out of prime had to face young hungry prime top players of djokovic nadal murray while djoko didnt experience that instead when djoko wa solder his competition was against weak era whiny players like tsitsipas

You compare strongest Rogers rivals with weakest Novak rivals. In Novak era main rivals are Nadal, Roger, Andy, Stan...
In Rogers era are Rodick, Hewitt, Safin.
Djokovic is now the grandpa and he is still kicking everyone’s ass.
novak won his 20 slams in 2011 when federer was 30 age out of prime and nadal became injury prone, he only won 1 slam when fed and nadal was at their best, he was 21 22 23 age in 2008-2010 prime age for tennis the same age of federer and nadal that already won many grand slam and fed was in his late prime 27 28 29 and he he still couldnt do sh1t and waited for federer to get older and past his prime and thats when he started winning lol thats why djokovic can never be the goat, he benefited from facing an old out of prime injury prone federer and nadal who was also an injury prone and the new gen weak era thats why he had a cake walk in winning slam, if federer was 25+ age prime in 2011 djokovic will be lucky enough to sneak 1 slam like he did in 2008, djokovic the true weak era champ
I know you`re just a frustrated troll but I`ll still give you something more to worry about here.
Since you mentioned a WEAK era here are some facts to consider :
-Federer won his first 10 grand slams against : Philipoussus, Safin, Roddick, Hewitt, Roddick, Agassi (at age 35), Baghdatis, Nadal (but at age 20), Roddick and Gonzalez.
There is no way around statistics and this is how it goes :
- Against top 10 players :
-Djokovic played 347 matches, won 240 (69,2%), lost 107.
- Against top 5 players :
-Djokovic played 188 matches (15,2%), won 114 of them (60,6%), lost 74.
He is not even a contender for GOAT anymore. It`s between Nadal and Djokovic and the gap will only increase. Game over for him and his fanboys. But it WAS a great run. While it lasted.
