But in those group stages you Need to win to get out and qualify to the knockout stages. So that means many great players in basketball also had support in the regular season to catapult them to the playoffs.. the ENTIRE SEASON should count. Maybe if you already qualified and you can play bench players those LAST GAMES it won’t matter but for the most part, you have to keep winning before the playoffs to be in a good spot.. just my opinion tbh

It's like an entirely different sport the way it is called with players playing very physical and refs holding back. Lots of great players shooting percentages go way down on the Finals. For instance, kobe was usually around 40%. It's like an entirely different sport the way it is called with players playing very physical and refs holding back. Steph still a big factor in every championship because teams have to worry about him so much and he tires out defenders.
