I highly recommend ordering vegetarian via Grab Food. You will have all the options there. Don't be scared some are in Thai but you get the best ones without having to travel far! Knowing BKK is very congested.

Burmese sudden withdrawal from the city after the conquer, the city became in the chaos, anarchic and then loot. The walls of Ayutthaya were removed, took the bricks to Thonburi and Bangkok to built the new capital. That is a part of reasons Ayutthaya was ruined.

Actully u can eat Pad Thai by just tellling the restaurant or the stall owner you are allergic to it and make sure they dont put the peanuts into it. Hope you have a chance to try it once, the door to Thai food. ;)

@@sophiekloppsowa1138 The peanut is just the topping put onto it b4 serving. There is no peanut in the sauce as it is majorly just a mixture of tamarind paste, fish sauce and palm sugar. Just in case you are curious, what I have explained is original recipe as Im originally Thai who loves to cook. Lol
I made a local friend a few weeks ago at Wat Arun and two weeks ago she took me to Ayutthaya for the day, it was amazing, she also took me to a riverside restaurant.
I realised that there were never too many tourists at ayuttaya. I went their during Chinese New Year of 2015 and few tourists there either, but crazily hot. But I met people driving all the way from Sichuan China (Chengdu city) down south to Thailand, in their Lexus. I was amazed and surprised. Haha
You should try visiting the gas station out of Bangkok. It's just like a community mall. Going to the north such as Chiang Mai is quite a new story. You should try! โปรดมาเที่ยวที่เมืองของฉัน

If you are in Nonthaburi , please visit the Suanthip restaurant , superb authentic Thai foods with Michellin star but affordable prices. I believe you will fallin in love again with Thai foods.
Next time when you are in Thailand, I will take you to Sukhothai, another Unesco site, with an older history than Ayutthaya. It was the capital before it was moved to Ayutthaya.

And the Bangkok Palace is a replica of the royal palace in Ayutthaya.
