Old guys moan about the nightlife in Bangkok saying it was better in the old days but was it really? Nightlife crackdowns and early closing were issues in the 90s and 00s but it's fair to say it is pretty tedious today and most will prefer to go back in time before the days of pretend DJs and people stuck in their phones. The days when Nasa Spacedrome was Thailand's biggest disco before the Airport Rail Line arrived and Sukhumvit Soi 22 was in the Top 10 places to party are long gone but the memories live on, plus we're also visiting Pratunam, Ramkhamhaeng & Makkasan for more historic insights.
