You can mix water with salt, then lay all the nuts on a tray, sprinkle them really well with the super salty water and either let them dry on their own or put the in the oven until you can see the white salt dried on top

Tips : you can put butter in the freezer to keep it for a long time too, we do this in my family. And when you finish the one that's in your fridge you can just take one that's in the freezer and put it in the fridge so it "unfreezes"

My daughters are grown so I enjoy watching your reality of starting your new apartment life. I know its easier said than done but I have had a panic/anxiety disorder for over 40 years but it is being controlled with meds and older age...never sweat and worry about anything that you have no control over. Tips : you can put butter in the freezer to keep it for a long time too, we do this in my family. And when you finish the one that's in your fridge you can just take one that's in the freezer and put it in the fridge so it "unfreezes"
