Yoshi is one of, if not my ALL TIME favorite Mario character. Bowser also competes for that title too. Can’t decide. It also helps that Super Mario World was my first ever video game that I remember playing as a kid. Yoshi as a character is older than me by just two years.
for Nitendo 64 there is another Yoshi game called Yoshi"s world as for the music it has Bunch of Yoshi groups singing songs and in the game the book comes and it opens a page and Yoshi speaking Gibbirish then in the game world of the book the player controlls all of the Yoshi and it spits out things at the Giant fire breathing dragon skeletons make a video about this

Rosalina, Yoshi, Daisy, and even his own brother, Luigi, are more interesting than Mario himself and yet they still pretty much reside in his shadow.

I never played Yoshi's Island when it was first released, as I had pretty much quit playing SNES by that time. But I just recently discovered it on my SNES Classic mini system, and it's by far my favorite game on that system. It's taken me over 20+ hours of cumulative game play but I'm finally at the World 6-8 castle as of last night 4 October 2018.
I played it so much back then, I absolutely adored it. Sadly my cartridge was affected from the saving issue then, making playing it completely impossible.
It pains me to say these words but sadly, they're not. They're definitely still the kings of the Handheld department but when it comes to anything else, specifically consoles, they are doing below average. Don't get me wrong, I still love Nintendo, but after getting into the Playstation Brand, I can say they are better at consoles than Nintendo is.

yoshi actually first appeared in an nes game by the name of "Yoshi" it was kinda like Tetris but Mario would catch enemies on plates and collect pieces of egg that hatched into yoshis after that connected you try to get as much baby yoshis before the plates get stacked up with enemies
He is cute but strong, and the most good out of every Mario Character! He would also be useful to play as in another New Super Mario Bros game someday! I have some feeling he will be a character to use by himself because Toad gotten added before. Yoshi could possibly be a great character to use because of his fast speed and trick skills with his tongue.

also you can double jump in the air with yoshi simply run backwards and run forward and jump while still holding the run button with the cape powerup and youll fly then fall down and quickly jump before landing still hold the run button or you cant fly
In my opinion, the parts where you jump off yoshi to save your own skin, I believe it was a little different then that. I believe that yoshi sacrificed himself so that Mario could jump across. Reason why? Mario can take yoshi’s but he can’t control them, he can’t decide whether they walk or not. Yoshi does, Nintendo only allowed you to make yoshi walk around since it would be harder if yoshi had his own mind and decisions, which only would make yoshi more popular. Sacrificing himself so that Mario could continue on his journey
I don't know what I was expecting... maybe more of a history,. This was not even half the games that featured Yoshi and a third of the ones that are Yoshi main character games

I think the reason why Yoshi's island did bad was because the SNES was outdated when it got published :(
