Thanks for the Video - Just Replaced the Actuator and as the Plastic Insert was slightly damaged when using the screw driver to Released the Tabs - Replaced the Plastic Insert Also - I used Audi VW Group Parts with Actuator for the Flap Release Euro 30 / US $ 31 and Plastic Insert Which Included the Fuel Cover ( Body Coloured Cover reused ) Euro 28 / US $ 29. Only Part to watch if replacing the Plastic Insert is the Water Drain Pipe for the Fuel flap Insert - this has a collar on the end of the pipe -so pipe has be pulled out upwards - best to feel a wire down pipe and out behind the wheel arch so it can be fed back down after changing the insert as exit hole is hidden behind the Exhaust Silencer so nearly impossible to refit the drain pipe to the clip on the rear bumper skin.

This worked on a 2013 audi a6 diesel without adblue. You have to push the screwdriver through almost 1cm and a couple of them were very hard to get through but then you can pry it loose very easliy.

My red cable to manually open is not getting the flap open

Thanks for the comment! I shown the issue in the video also, the red cable didnt open the flap so I had to replace the entire thing

Ja wymieniłem odrazu na nowy szkoda czasu na naprawy bo po czasie jest to samo.Ja podejżewałem ze przyczyną jest nieszczelnosć.Jak założysz nowy smaruj go czesciej.

A co do smarowania jak już nie chcesz niszczyć plastiku tego z przodu,przebijając go srubokrętem to jedynie przez bagażnik i od strony schowka.Ale cieżko tam dojść ,lepiej od przodu😉

Mam pytanie jeszcze czy ten kołnierz jak przebije śrubokrętem to muszę wymienić na nowy czy mogę zostawić z tymi dziurami Ew czymś uszczelnić xd bo to chyba kosztowne do A7 :D

Such a poorly designed and engineered system prone to constant failures on nearly all Audi models, and extremely critical considering that an inability to add fuel could create an emergency situation. I'm surprised that a class action lawsuit has yet to be levied against Audi for this dangerous nuisance. I have found that applying WD40 to the rotating latch piston often seems to relieve the problem. YMMV.

Własnie na filmiku tez o tym wspomniałem u mnie tez nie działało nie wiem po co to montowali.Musisz cienkimi srubokretami przez klapke wlewu wypchac ten popychacz on jest owalny trzeba go lekko obrucic jak sie da.Troche na sile próbuj ale żebys uszka od klapki nie uszkodził zamek i tak nowy musisz kupic.Sory ze tak późno odpisałem ale nie jestem w kraju i net za słaby.
