The reason why they didn't allow the brother to come with is because family gets in the way. Same reason why paramedics won't allow family members to ride in the ambo most places (unless its a juvenile) because they get in the way. They try to intervene, help and etc... Nothing but problems. The brother was drunk and already being aggressive. Literally he was the last thing she needed and the rescuers.
This is absolutely untrue. When my dad was dying from cancer and he had adverse reactions to his medications we called the ambulance to take him to the hospital multiple times. Each and every time I was in the back with him, and when my mom had a stroke my younger brother was with her. So don't talk about things you have no idea about.
In both cases its up to the person in charge of the emergency vehicle, in your case they let you come with, in this case they decided not too, at the end of the day it up to the person in charge.
It was the extra weight in a shallow river not anything else
@Impending Joker it's literally up to driver bro. Don't feel special bc ur not
@@ImpendingJoker You are a fool. He said MOST PLACES won't allow it which is 100% true and it makes complete sense if you aren't deranged. What kind of selfish person would want to even slightly distract paramedics or interfere in any way while they are trying to save a loved one? The brother in this case was clearly panicking uncontrollably, acting like a drunk fool, and jumped on the boat invading the space of the ones trying to save his sister. So yeah, he needed to get shoved off as soon as he got in the way.
loneliness is the world's worst kind of pain
I hope they got that lady who was trying to kill herself gets the help she needed and is doing better now.
More of a cry for help than anything.
the one that jumped like 10 feet in the water lol
The man who jumped in a freezing lake with jeans and a button up on , is a LEGEND! He risked his life for that dog. Getting in freezing water like that isn't good on the ticker. Especially getting in and staying for a while. Definitely could have put him in cardiac arrest.
honestly thought the woman was more brave since he was trying to yank it instead of getting closer and risking falling deeper in, she wanted to make sure she was touching that dog to calm him down as well as save him.
@@memewithinameme35 yeah but he was in the water with normal clothes.
The moments that dog got away from the owners made my heart sink. Can't even imagine watching my loved pup being washed away from me. Grateful for these people that help without asking for a thanks.
I know that guy was under stress but imagine saying “eff you” to the people SAVING your sister.
Saving? What if she dies and these are the last moments he’ll be able to see/talk to her?
They definitely could have used him for info, there was room for his skinny rear on there too
@@entername5706 having someone as distraut and excited as him on your boat while everyone is trying to work would only make matters worse. Its already a stressful situation with having to respond in a crowded river where some people dont move. If you read the story that was the third water rescue they did that day and the girl lost consciousness twice on the boat. Imagine he was there to witness that with the demeanor he had. You would take resources out of the rescue pool because one of the officers would then have to control/console him. From responding to get her and then to the ambulance it took a total of 15-minutes to get her to medical care and she wasn't even at the hospital yet. She is quite literally lucky to be alive but its all thanks to these men. I know thats family and it could be their last moments with them but he was unfit to be there with his mental state.
@@entername5706 If she's unconscious it wouldn't matter no would it? Would you rather be left behind and have them save your sister or go with her and have her die as a result? Use your brain.
@@entername5706 yes, saving. It’s what they were trying to do. All 4 of them had specific tasks to focus on in order to do so. None of them had the time to handle a distraught relative. Him riding on the boat could’ve meant the difference between her surviving or dying. Sure, it might have helped him feel better in the moment but they were there to save her, not make the brother feel better. It might suck, but it’s reality. As for the information he was trying to give them, I’m sure the 911 operator took down all of that info already or had the number of the person who called 911 if they needed more info.
Thank God they didn't take the brother because they would've spent valuable time just handling him instead of his sister. Their not being mean or heartless, they're putting the patient first. It's normal to be upset, very upset when someone we love is sick or hurt. What you have to bear in mind is that they're there to help someone in desperate need, not hold hands with frightened family. I had to explain this to my own kid when her child was in the ICU. If you're overly emotional in situations like that, the First Responders, doctors, nurses, etc will make you leave because in that moment, the patient is all that matters
That's what emergency nurses are for. They should always have an emergency chaplain on board who stays on site.
@@switch12345678 wtf is she going to do, stand around on the rocks and pat them on the back and tell them she's gonna be ok?
@@devilis6 Well, ask them what they do after every serious car accident or killing spree 😅
There are ways and ways of doing things. They treated him like a piece of garbage.
@@MrKoyama2004 bruh i'd treat anyone like garbage if they're literally wasting time and preventing someone from being saved.
They can't be responsible for panicking family! I love patients and their families, but there's times when you have to say, you have to leave the room!
Another example why We Need Good Police! Bravo to All of You! Thank You All.
The sad thing is most of these rescued ppl still vote for politicians that look down on first responders.
I wouldn't have left without my dog, I absolutely understand those people and think they are fantastic.
As a former Police officer , and now retired Firefighter I tell you that this is what they do. I'm not a particularly emotional man, however I confess that I cry when I when I WATCH videos like THESE.
8:10 "is there a way to make it like a noose?"----that's a great way to save her😆😆🤣
The reason they didn't let him ride was the extra weight in a very shallow river that's why the captain said it not the medics
Felt so bad for the older gentleman at the end, he must have been terrified.
I agree. He just got rescued from the flood and she offers him water "bless her heart" it was a good laugh though
@@paraplegicmom5318 yeah that part was pretty funny. ^__^
The amount of people who underestimate water is crazy to me. I have a raft that I call the 'Dead man raft' because on my way back from rafting some dude was drunk and hit his head and the supposed volunteer firefighter couldn't dive 5 feet to grab the guy so I had to and I had to use my raft to move him away from rocks. He died a week later July 24th
May God bless everyone. Have a good day.
@@bobs_1429 the spirit is still here tho smartass
@Bobs_1 nope! The "world" left God! That's why the "world" is so screwed up today!
@@ericpl7227 the elites bought media companies to change the moral compass of the public, this allowing evil to permeate through the consciousness of society
Its the ems discretion if you are allowed to ride along, being family doesn't grant you permission. The last thing they need is drama and someone interfering with the care they're trying to provide.
Also, its a boat, meaning quicker and more agile with less weight.
Good thing LEO had that airboat! 😎
Well only made it halfway through that one holy cow
21:00 The dog standing in the water like it's nothing, while the humans acted like it was raging torrent that was 20 feet deep.
he’s built different
the last 10 seconds 😂😂 you don't ask someone who almost just drowned if they want some water bruhhhh
Did the river jump lady have a life vest on under her coat? Or is she naturally buoyant?
the cops were standing in it, i think it was just a foot or so deep.
The one rescue of the baby in the overturned red car in the water; you can hear one of the first responders replying to the mother’s voice. Thing is, she had already passed prior to them arriving. Freaky but documented.
Untrue. Source including time code of said incident and document on how you know the exact time of death ?
Oh that poor baby! 😢
And the girls upset about her phone! No thank you for saving my life and risking the emergency guys own!
That driving was questionable
*sees thumbnail* that looks like the arizona salt river.... it is... yeah that place is crazy lmao marshmallows and death, the perfect combo
That lady jumped from a height of 10 feet into water to try to end her life?? What 😂
She didn't even go to the taller bridge right next to it lol
I remember seeing the video of the boat and just can’t get over all those idiots blocking the channel of the river. Pure ignorance.
That’s nothing. I have gone down the salt many times. The drunk ASU students completely trash the river and act like the entitled narcissists they are - “because Ima college student bro!!”
They clog up sections of the river making it difficult for Kayakers and normal people to get through
I bet Mr Jet ski forgot to make sure the plug was in.....
Baby giraffe straight walked out of the flooded car
Dude almost died trying to get that dog, That woman jumped right in when she could see the guy wasn't going to do anything.
“You want any water or anything”😂
Looks like a bunch of kids that would say “FTP!” Lol
Why did that cop not wrap the rope around and then carabiner it to the rope?
The Salt River isn't treacherous lol! It's just a bunch of wasted people floating down an almost static River on tubes 🤣.
Don't forget they're drunk ppl, with marshmallows! And wild horses! So it's a strong current with a lot of distractions lmao
@10:19 I can't... 🤦♀️😞
The worlds slowest moving river…
10:17 😂😂😂
Is this a fan boat?
I gotta waa-aatchhh🤮
No Rope!!!?? WTF
Far from treacherous waters , I believe it was something physical , not because of the water.
Bless our Border Patrol.
Hope that officer talked to about pushing that guy.
10 guys to help one lady out of the river. All you need is one to jump in with the rope already tied around him and like two at the shore pulling them up. Four guys max would have been enough.
Reach, throw, row, go. Ha ha
The jet ski clearly didn't sink. He prolly ran out of gas.
People can't take orders from law enforcement to save their lives !
😂 i thought that it was gonna be Illegal immigrants 😂
Nothing treacherous about those waters, it’s just some people don’t know what they’re doing…
This is what police do, far from the same portrayal the Liberal media make. Bless them.
This is not illegal immigration
I’m actually in the first video lol
fr?
Imagine all the drunk people throwing up and peeing in that water and everyone floating in it. Gross.
I’ve never seen someone throw up on the River. It’s also moving water. Also wait until you hear about the ocean.
When he shoved the skinny dude off the boat anything could of happened, like he hits his head on a rock, then what?
Shove is a strong word lol it was a light push after he asked him to get off.
@@reedeayers They were asking , whats her name, he got on the boat and said i'm her brother, then he was shoved off the boat and then told them her name before they drove off. I'm thinking the guy driving the boat didn't hear him say he was her brother?
There is a reason I sometimes don’t like dogs.
why did they not start CPR on her? wtf
She was up and responsive if you’re talking about the first clip. You can see her moving around almost like she’s seizing but she’s awake
Maybe learn the facts before commenting
First
Sirens on water really? bru
It's not a new thing lol
So people know there is a boat coming, that's literally why sirens exist
@@booster_lag1763 it's for narcissistic reason
Do you not see all the boat-traffic in the water? They were on a lifesaving mission.
@@IndianOutlaw1870 Luckily they didn't shoot the brother for getting on the boat.
Pushing the kid off the boat when his sister is the one who is a medical emergency was totally uncalled for! How unprofessional and rude! He can give them any info about her that they would need he is an asset to her survival and they just disregarded him and the information he was traying to provide.
He was drunk and trying to save her life. Family members get in the cops way that’s why he wasn’t allowed on. His sister literally thanked the cops for not allowing him climb on board. She passed out again while driving to the ambulance
@@mykalarenner9063 obviously you've never had a family member going through a traumatic event and tried to comfort them. Watch the video you state false facts...troll!
I dont like the shooting honestly, and im a savage in every way lol
“Get that guy off my boat?” Seriously? He’s trying to give you information about the victim and YOU PUSH HIM OFF THE BOAT?
They're heartless for not letting the brother go along
Because family gets in the way. He was already being uncorruptive (and probably drunk) when they first arrived. He wasn't listening. Last thing you need is some drunk brother trying to help and making things worse. They will go back and get him after they drop her off to the paramedics.
It's a liability thing! If the brother falls overboard and drowns it's on them! He's not going to do anything other than be in the way!
There's a life at stake. High emotions get in the way and what's more improtant is the life of the girl, not compassion.
He says sister.
If you worked in the health setting you’d quickly realize that it’s not heartless. They are medical professionals. The family member yelling or distressed won’t help and doesn’t know what to do.
ANGELS ON DUTY.
I’d like to know what happens when the police get socked do they get time off or they just keep going.
