“The way God has used my depression has allowed me to need Him in a way that people don’t have it don’t have”. This is so beyond what I needed to hear, I’m in tears writing this. I came to God in a real way this summer at age 24. I had such envy for girls who had started their walk with God long before, and that kind of wiped this envy from me. Instead of “welp, the rough stuff was all just part of His plan, keep going!” this is what I’ve needed to hear. Without the hard and scary 23 years I’d lived before, the thirst in my heart for Him would not be there. I’ve had this realization that I had to learn the hard way that being far from God’s teachings, and at times far enough to deny Him, would leave me heartbroken, sick, and so so low. That’s just my path! After all, cautionary tales never worked on me! I had to see the lows and the evil of the world firsthand to really reach for God and stay determined to center him in a my life. I didn’t really mean to write this huge novel post, nor do I really intend for anyone to read it, but WOW. I am so glad I heard this. I am so glad I’m not the only girl who has felt these lows and that there’s more to this than just “everything happens for a reason”.

Every day there seems to be a confirmation from God for how I can navigate loving someone that has depression!
So comforting after hearing Freddie’s testimony. So many of us struggle with anxiety and depression and there is hope in Jesus he will give you the strength to get through it. I still struggle with health anxiety and constantly have negative thoughts of something bad happening to me but i put my trust in God and that he is covering and protecting me so anyone reading this don’t loose hope your not alone it gets better i promise 💛
I suffer from anxiety and depression since my Daddy past away 4 years ago.
My marriage I feel it's ALWAYS an argument, my husband don't think that he thinks it's just a disagreement.

I don’t know how I came across this video but I am so glad I did. I am going through the list difficult journey and phase in my life after a lot of traumatic experiences that has intensified so much depression and anxiety! I feel so hopeless the majority of my days and don’t know how to come out! It was just helpful to watch this and no that somewhere someone understands and maybe has been through it too! The world can feel so isolating! You want so badly to be around a community of people who understand! This comforted me in a moment of despair!🙏🏾
It sad to hear that so many people are depressed. I did had a depression I also got to the hospital, because I was afraid to make a end of my life. I stayed there for a while. Reading the Bible did cure my depression. Identity in Christ is really important and also renewal of your mind. It took me two years to feel better. Also it isn't a shame to use medication, it really can be life saving. And it works. Pray and read a lot, I hope this may encourage you.

Remarkable person reading this.. It’s going to get better; all it is a season of opportunity to grow and be better than before. Challenging times are meant to strengthen us, not to break us. Success doesn’t define to what happened to us; it is how we choose to deal with our circumstances. So I really relate to Freddie, I also have over come depression and suicidal thoughts (I attempted in 2008 when I was 18) and I feel it is also my calling to use my story to help others and plan on writing a book. Also, last week I lost a friend to suicide and it made me remember so strongly that day I tried to take my own life and how far I have come. I wish I could have known about my friend and maybe I could have helped him. But now I just know that I have to do my part by sharing my story and how I was able to overcome depression and borderline personality disorder. Thank you for sharing this video, it confirms even more what I need to do. 💕🙏🏻
Exactly I say everyday! Have a story to tell others you been threw.i also struggle still threw depressing and anxiety! Who am since I was eight. How God used me to tell others. Not a bad thing when you have a testimony to others girls. Exactly what happened to me.God has help me so much with mentally health issues!!!!!!! Absolutely amazing testimony 🙌 Thank you so much for sharing! I have struggled with anxiety and depression my whole life and like Freddie I saw that as a bad thing. When she shared the part about being on her knees so God could grab her hand and lift her up it made me look at my situation in a completely different way. I feel like Freddie and I are the same person! 😆 I really relate to her experiences and it was very encouraging to hear about her walk with the Lord through it all. I beat myself up when I experience anxiety or when I don’t have that “joy of the Lord” high energy with me everywhere I go… it feels like I’m doing something wrong, but like you both said, it really is essential in finding dependence on the Lord in those anxious or depressing moments. “I can’t do this on my own, God I need you to work through me right now.” I have even been told that I need to be delivered from spirits of fear and anxiety by fellow Christians but it later dawned on me that Jesus is my deliverer, he will be with me through the anxiety and depression, bringing me out of it himself… even if it takes time. Anyways, long story short this video was SO helpful in many ways to clear up some perplexing questions in my faith. Thank you so much!

I relate to the little things of the toxic red flags and I look back now like yeah that wasn't just his personality and I should have left sooner but it had to happen the way it did. Also what Sadie said it was hard for me too to get over that person for a long time but I did have that moment too when I realized I wasn't having trouble thinking about that person anymore. However the pandemic had me thinking about everything from my past again so I noticed that when I am busier I don't think as much anymore.
Wow. This spoke so much to me. I’ve been going through a stripping where I feel like God is taking away things I’ve waited for for years. This has definitely made me re-evaluate things

I feel like I’m going through this season right now. I’ve given my life to Christ but now I feel like I’m being ripped away from my family and community due to my husband getting a job in a different state. We prayed and prayed to be able to stay in the same town but He didn’t open any doors.
And I know He is good and knows best. As Freddie said, “He’s not taking away good things just things I thought I wanted.” When she said that I knew that was God speaking to me 😭 His ways are best and I know He is going to bring something great out of this.

I am going through something very similar, except my family moved away from me :] it’s very hard. I am trying to stay focused on how God is using it in all of our lives but it’s so hard not to feel resentful / rejected
My 16 year old seems to be going the opposite. She so angry and hates church wants nothing to do with God. She depressed and lives in a dark place mentally. Praying she surrenders. I'll never give up on her I'm learning to love her and navigate this biblically.
Lord I pray you would draw her daughter back to your heart and to the truth of who you are and what you have done for her. Don't let this one slip through the cracks Lord leave the 99 for her. I ask you this in Jesus name and I thank you in advance. (Stay strong mom)

She’s lucky to have a mom who at the very least believes her and sees it and doesn’t throw blame and won’t give up! That is the most precious gift you can give her, speaking as an older girl who came to Christ after an upbringing where my mom did not afford me that grace in a situation like what you described. She will thank you and love you endlessly for this in God’s time. I pray your family feels relief.

I loved hearing this. I’m a christian who struggles with depression and dark thoughts, but I have prayed and confessed my problems to God. Music also helps me through these feelings, it’s sort of like therapy for me. Keep up with the great content! Peace and blessings 🙏

I really relate to the depression and suicidal attempt. It’s interesting and so cool to hear the link between needing Jesus because of this struggle. Everyone needs him for a different reason.

Sadie how did you stop being jealous? I am married and my husband gives me no reason to be jealous but I still find myself having jealous tendencies! I keep going through waves of being totally fine and then all of a sudden I'm jealous and insecure. I understand its important to get out of a toxic relationship but what if you are the toxic person?
As a young woman of God who a lot of people look up to and trust I encourage you to do the hard thing that God wants you to do and that's to speak up on this platform to anybody who thinks LGBTQ plus is a good choice in life and bring awarness to their worth and true identity in Christ..trans identity, etc. has gotten out of control and young people of God need to speak up even when it's hard and threatens our comfort because that's what being a Christian is all about.

what do ya do when your friends are too busy to hangout with ya?im going through that right now and i feel like they are what ya call ghosting me which means not wanting to hangout with me and it hurts really bad and i dont know what to do about it.also is their a counselor for guys?
Loneliness can be a good thing too! It can help us learn to enjoy our own company but even better it can help us learn to enjoy spending time with God. I know it sucks having friends blow you off or ghost you but God doesn’t do that, we’re often the ones to “ghost” God. Draw near to him and trust that he’s got this situation

What kinda of Bible would u recommend old testament and new ?
It's important to read all yet we live by Faith thru Grace since Christ died for us. To start, so as to get on right path & not be as confusing, I begin In Acts 9 & read thru Philemons. Those books are for Gentiles & how Paul teaches we are to Love today (after Christ death).
KJV is God's original inspired wording. Some Hebrew & Greek words have way different meaning then English language so that is how the bible gets twisted and ppl say "it's been changed" if they read other versions.
What happens if you recognize the toxic relationship...but you're married? I've been in a toxic; verbal (and in the past physically) abusive marriage for 19 years. It has changed every single aspect of my mental and physical health. I have tried the counseling for years and he will not stop the verbal abuse. The Bible isn't super clear on that. I want to honor God, but I feel like I can't continue doing this. I'm going to end up having a stroke with all this heartache and stress. This is a situation where I really wish I could audibly hear God!

Your education does not define you. Your score on the SAT or the Chinese Gaokao does not matter in regard to eternity. I am 62. I have no time for people I can just make small talk with. People that can’t be real about struggles. Can’t be real about God. About their struggles with Faith and a painful walk with Christ. I have Sisters in Christ I can share my ugly with. And I can hear theirs and not judge it or minimums it. But, get down in the ugly mess. And find Jesus in it. Or pour Christ even cry Jesus with them.

Their money came from an invention. What they continue to make by helping spread Gods word is the blessing they get for being followers. I for one will start doing His will and see were He leads me before I continue pitting myself & dumping on others!
Plus, they have sponsors yet they choose to speak "said commercial" which doesn't allow "non Christian" commercials to pop up intising others of their spreading His word. Jesus loves you, learn to love as He does.
