Mr. 300C a scatpack charger is a little faster than the challenger it would’ve done way better maybe beat the mustang

Anthony Huntley how is it faster? The scat packs are 485hp no matter which model you get. Challenger or Charger. The cars both of them are just too heavy to compete with a mustang. And remember this. This is a manual. The 10 speed auto would’ve been worse.

Awesome content man. I would like to see them both on E85. Those HEMI's have some great torque. Me and my buddy raced our cars stock and he has a Charger Scat Daytona edition. He always shot out in front but I beat him on the top end. Fun stuff. Thanks for sharing mang!

I have a 2019 5.0 as well but went with the 10r80. Still stock so far but looking to tune in the new year. Not much for e85 here but should gain a bit with 93 hopefully.

These mopar guys are drunk if they think a tune alone would save the srt from that gap.
If a manual GT pulls such a gap and lets be honest that gap was growing rapidly before they slowed down, then the 10r80 will glide away

Were any of the runs in full track mode in the SRT? curious to see if custom mode is the same as track mode.
Put a tune on srt. Put the hell cat filter in take the K and N filter out hellcat filter flows much better

Not very educated on challengers. But would you be able to tune the challenger and convert it to flex fuel just to keep the daily drivability and to make it quicker?

You couldn't have done better, than to have 6.2Hellcatt drive the 392. 🔥😎🤙
I believe the gearing plays a big part in the top end for the challenger, I believe they're more set-up for the 1/4 mile, while the mustang is set-up more for track so you don't have to shift as much, now the hellcat has the gearing for top speed, but seeing how the mustang is a sports car it's more aerodynamic and less weight by like 600lbs, while the challenger is a muscle car so it's more of a brick and weighs more because its more of a cruiser but has power there when you want to go fast, the 10spds are ok in the Mustangs, but I still prefer the torque flight 8spd which is still one of the best autos being produced right now. Mustang is quick, but a lot of people underestimate the challenger because they're big and heavy cars, but I love Dodge for sticking to their roots with them, I really hope they use the alpha chassis and reduce the weight by like 500lbs or more who knows. Good races none the less, as long as you're having fun that's all that matters.

Good race Rush. Enjoyed it, but I'm a Mopar guy and I can't help but think aloud to myself that this is far from being a FAIR race. You have the Mustang (that's already athletic and in good shape), loaded with bunch of weapons; guns, ammunitions and a Kevlar. You then invited the big and overweight Challenger SRT armed only with a butter knife to a fight! How is this fair? Arm the SRT with the same weapons; guns, ammunitions and don't forget the kevlar too. Then rematch the fight again on your channel.

Rush Shift yep! The top end of these cars are actually really good with a tune. They are pulled back quite a bit stock. I promise you the results will surprise you.

Bro just tune your srt and you will wake it up. I have a charger 392 and the tune made a big difference. The 392 has a dip in power when it transitions from low end power to top end power. Find a tuner to correct that and keep your power leveled and you will notice a huge difference. Did that to my car and have ran a tuned 2018 mustang and we stayed neck to neck. I'll probably add a few bolt ons and do some weight reductions and see where that takes me. Keep up with good content 👍

I C what makes it better than a 18-20 GT. Be realistic about the car. If both have good tires on them an 18-20 GT is always winning. The dodge is too heavy it needs to be like 550hp to compare to the mustang in power to weight ratio and that’s not even factoring in the added benefit of a 10 speed auto.
Now that’s how you drive the 5.0s. I wish I had me another. Maybe one day I’ll get another. Now what you need to do next is race an auto 5.0 with same mods and show how quick a manual is still compared to the auto since you have driving skills.

I’m not saying it won’t but a skilled driver with a manual can keep pace or even beat a newer auto. Say what you will but I’ve raced a DCT with a manual both we’re the same car and I beat it with my manual. Its al about knowing your car.

I've read the 18 and up Mustangs manual trans is geared more for auto cross/circuit track racing.
The tranmission has nothing to do with it, now the gearing in the rear end is a different story. Also if the car is a PP1 or PP2

Technically track mode isn’t met to be rolled raced its net for dig race , that should be in sport mode
When ever you're race it should be in track mode that's what it's for
