      Awesome buddy, what do you think of adding a TBSP of the sugar free jello mix? Also using xanthan gum in recipes? I absolutely want to make this.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      The xanthan gum will probably smooth it out a little bit. And that jello will thicken it more.... Not sure if you need the gum in a Ninja Creami though.... Regular ice cream machine, definitely though.

      Hi 😊 so..in about a week from now my Ninja Creami Deluxe will finally be here and i see that monk fruit sweetener is being used a lottt...my question is- does it affects on the creaminess/thickness as well? bc it's very expansive and a "bit" over my budget for daily usage, so in case it doesn't I'll prob omit it/if you have a more budget friendly alternative - that would be gerat

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  11 месяцев назад

      @Gx2R I use it just because it tastes the most like sugar and don't have an aftertaste. You can use other stuff though. I just wouldn't do the stevia in there unless you blen dit with something because it can be harsh. You can get 5 lb bags of the monk fruit stuff on Amazon for like 35 bucks.. Pricey but it lasts forever.

      @@JoesPhenomenal thx for taking the time to answer dude, really appreciate it! sadly, after checking with amazon- the problem is that i can only buy the 1.76 lb (i don't live in the US). quick math- 5 lb will be around 50 bucks which means 2.5$ a pint😢. man that sucks...i 😥really wanted to add it to my daily use

    You sold me on the ninja creami with your awesome review, my family loves it so much! I need to make this Ice cream for myself, I'm the only one that likes pistachios, but that's the beauty. We now have 4 pints. I just have to share my kiddo's favorite recipe that she made up, frozen dragon fruit chunks (surprisingly cheap), frozen pineapple chunks a banana and coconut milk, I know you don't usually like using sugar but a couple teaspoons of brown sugar is also an ingriedient she wanted, we blended it with an immersion blender and then froze it in the pints, It turned out AMAZING texture taste, and everything was perfect, dense and smooth in all the right ways. One regular sized bag of each frozen fruit plus a can of coconut milk made two pints and she had awesome smoothie sorbet bowls for breakfast the whole week!

    I’m not near a Kroger. What other non dairy milk do you suggest as a base? I see you use this as a go to. Also, do you add in the whey protein to make it “healthy”? I’m guessing it’s not necessary. Thanks for your tutorials, laid out very well!

  • @Aviv
    @Aviv Месяц назад +2

    From a scientific standpoint letting it thaw before using the creami is an error. A cold mixture will yield smaller granules and will be smoother. a warmer mixture is more flexible when meeting the blade therefore the crystals created are larger.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Месяц назад +1

      Very true... I only leave mine out for a minute or two if at all... It helps with some people getting granual ice cream though. I personally just like to run it, and if it comes out like that, I just add a tbsp of milk, redo it, and it's fine.

I love pistachio as a kid at Howard Johnson ( showing my age) i always got a sugar cone of pistachio and chocolate. Those 2 mix really well together. It was not Green just slightly. Do you think i can make this w/o the protein powder maybe a little heavy cream in it’s place. I know less healthy but have everything but that?

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Год назад

      Yep... that should work fine. I have the powder in there just to bump the protein content. The heavy cream will make it tastier. When you see really green pistachio ice cream, it usually means they added green food coloring... same with mint chocolate chip ice cream as well.
