nice ride, can't never buy one but looking at this video almost feel the feeling i always dreaming on quad bike, thanks guys... here an ideas and there is 2 that is using soft wheel and airless tires hehehe smooth ride on all trains loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Cool does not even come close to what that Quad is. I mean you are going to have to make up a whole new word/language to start describing some of your builds. It just looks sooooooo good, mean, tough, aggressive. My first thought was 90 gears, whaaaaaaa? But then I read Mr Rat's comment about where he is riding. Definitely better to have too many then not enough. Oh well, guess I'll head to the basement, get on the expedition and go crank out some miles on the trainer and dream of shinny new things... Forgot to mention that I love the color.
@@UtahTrikesOnline Oh I will. So looking forward to when I can get the trike back out on the road. Yesterday's weather was mix of rain, snow, wind, sun, more rain more wind then it cleared off and froze last night, so they salted the roads AGAIN. Arghhhhh I can ride in the rain but when it is only a few degrees off freezing, NO And no salt on the trike.
Video tech that lets girls be nerds may save us all. Now build a riderless four wheel drive chassis and then add the crank-seat assembly where ever you want. A radio controlled bike with an optional rider? Maybe it's something for the guys at FliteTest. Then you can get fancy and shrink an off-road suspension. (try bungee cord springs)
Congratulations: This is the vehicle of entertainment and therapy that I need, since I have a physical disability. But I don't like that the pedals are ahead. Perhaps, if the chair will be placed, more to the center.
If I could afford it I would definitely get a fat tire, recumbent quad....in the color red, with full suspension and more than single speed..for sure. But, I can't see myself ever being able to afford one of these, unless I were to find a used one, several years old. I would definitely prefer 20 or 24 inch tires. I'm too short for 26 inch tires.
@@richardbodine7256 I haven't owned a car since August of 2009. I have no plans to ever get another one. So, that won't help. My social security retirement is $870 a month. It always increases a little bit every January, but my rent increases too. I will just have to go for a cheaper option, like one of the 2 Kent tadpole trikes that Walmart sells. They also sell a fat tire version....not a quad, but still fat tires...but I can't afford that one either. I get a settlement check every year that is between $1,500 and $1,600. I am planning on using that to get a trike. I will never be able to afford this quad or one like it, without monthly payments. But, I don't like monthly bills or debt, and avoid them like the plague.
@@nannuartworks5812 Thanks. I will definitely check that out and see if I can find a used one locally, when I get the money. Last year the money came in June, but it seems to come on different months every year.

Not bad, if it would have a Rohloff hub and electric assist. :) I suppose after this video you will get a lot of orders. :D Unfortunatly I live in Europe. I wonder what the average speed of this beast is on the streets with the 26" offroad tyres? On the other hand in my home town the regular bikeways have almost offroad conditions. :-/
Not meaning to harsh anyone's buzz (and this is some very cool technology) wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just pick up a used 2-stroke dirt bike?
$10,000 oh no! I'd be afraid of getting quad jacked. If I had the materials and tools I could easily build this for $3,000. I'd love to own one but I'll stick to my $200 bmx and $200 jetson pro.
Completely amazing. Not even sure that chocolate and sex together could exceed the excitement I got from seeing some of these quads. That said, is it likely that riding this on traditional bike trails in Connecticut (Northeast) is likely to create "problems" with cyclists and of course the almighty men in blue, or gray, or purple or whatever. The trikes, I would think, would be fairly benign, but, are 4 wheels smoothing that would create a bigger stir?. Any opinion on that would be much appreciated. As always, LOVE your videos.

Awesome build. Even though you can’t fold it anymore, it’s still an awesome quad. I really wish I could have one
Before the stabilizers we could kind of fold it, but the folded size and shape was unwieldy.
The presenter is definitely correct about the "coolness " factor . amazing looking . i would love to see an E version .

The down side is the cargo deck sits on the rear suspension unit and whatever you carry on it will feel all the bumps.
Agreed. Tying a rack into the main frame would need to be elaborate and it wouldn't be able to carry much.

Pinion 9-speed gearing in the front and 10-speed derailleur gearing in the back.

The Pinion with our 1000W motor is a fantastic way to go. Lots of gearing and plenty of power and speed.
Nice narration. A very valuable thing for UT. Do they have any idea?
We have an idea! :)
It's missing a pair of 1,000 watt motors for each of the rear wheels!
#ThrottleUp
Or you can stick a 3-5kW motor on the output in the back and have a hell of a time
Do you sell reverse thread free wheels and hubs for the left hand rear drive wheel ?
we have 20t and 16t southpaw freewheels. We do not currently have any hubs.
Utah Trikes thanks do you have any reverse hubs in order ?
Are quad street legal and need License and registration?
Without a motor they are classified as bicycles. With a motor it depends on your jurisdiction.
How much?
Battery power one of these and clock a 100mph speed.
not without aerodynamics :-)
I would love to see the azub tiflyx like that with the qaud axle, would it be possibly to adjust it🤔. Maybe i adjust mine anf put fat tires on it 😜
