Sadly there aren't so much videos like this on youtube anymore.. I like to watch these and fall asleep in the morning, eventually I sometime have lucid dreams or just dreams about these places, and I just love them, so relaxing, I wake up and feel refreshed and not tired like usual, unexplainable, simply perfect

Liminal spaces if done right can be more sad than scary. The first part of the video reminds me of all the places 'the old furniture store' Ive seen in my childhood that I have vague memories of that are gone.

A-Sync was so impressed by Rohners taste in interior design, they hired him to be the interior designer for the Backrooms project. They created a wormhole from Rohners store to mass copy it into the backrooms, again and again, billions of times over, into infinity, leading to billions of cubic miles of mazes of yellow wallpaper, brown carpet, and buzzing fluorescent lightings.
Wow. Dude. First off, the sound design is actually pretty sweet in this one. Visuals are also great as usual. One detail I can't leave unaccredited is that at 5:22, when he brings out his flashlight, the colors of the wallpaper and carpet are correctly shown. Most people forget how color science works, and just slap yellow base textures on everything EXCEPT the florescent lights, when in reality it's the opposite. Literally the soul reason the OG pic looks yellow is because the lights cast a yellow glow on everything and/or the white balance is off, which you implemented nicely into your render. Another thing, if your goal at 2:34 was to every viewer sh*t themselves, you succeeded lmao 💀 Also 5:19 Minecraft soundtrack check 😱

honestly i like the idea outside backrooms thats just a massive grassy field with random structures and anomalies. like the backrooms taunting you with a fake outside. also are the "iterations" seen at the minute mark made with ai? they have an outpainted look to them.
The backrooms should be about the liminality not separate levels. This is how the Backrooms is properly shown as not a rpg dimension but a realm where dreams, nightmares, and old memories manifest into physical spaces. A lot of the spaces make little to no sense in the structure to the point where it’s no where else seen on Earth and is directly from a dream.
I like the atyle of noclipping into the backrooms in your videos. The camera doesnt just clipp trough something and falls but you rather are wandering trough the place youre in and suddwnly notice that you are in a room youve never seen before and then you realite that there is no turning back. If you think about it this would be much scarier than just falling trough the floor and landing somewhere youve never been before.

Well 1st off, The Backrooms are a concept that are in the Creative Commons, and the same goes for pretty much all images intended to be “Backrooms images”, as since the Backrooms community loves to make their own recreations of images, they sorta benefit from images/videos/other visual content being free to use, and accessible by all. 2nd of all, if you’re really worried about permission from the original creator of something, you can either credit them somewhere in the description of the game (although I believe their automated moderation would remove links to youtube so you could only say their channel name). Or, failing that - if you’re still worried about issues, then make things that are extremely similar to/inspired by things the person you want permission from has made, but not exact replicas (i.e. apply the same concepts but don’t mimick the form you saw them in). If you’re not worried about that however, then I’d say have at it! Go full speed ahead with it. Nothing/nobody can really stop you, and why would they want to considering the nature of how the Backrooms community works? Wouldn’t make sense. 3rd of all, don’t judge yourself too much. If it fits to you, then again, go for it. But if you want to get other peoples opinions on the matter, then feel free to do so. Maybe they could provide insight on something you’d never noticed before. And last, but not least, could I be of any use here? Jan. 1, 2004 - 27,149 hours is Nov. 25 or 26, 2000, depending on which hour it was on Jan. 1, 2004. I noticed that there is a file from Nov. 26, 2000 that we have not seen yet. I wonder if we will see the choice be finalized in that video, since it happened at the same time.
