No levels, no monsters, no weird gimmicks. Just a dude wandering endless yellow hallways and stumbling around a broken reality. This is what the Backrooms ought to be.
    Also what a spooky ending.

There have always been entities: *"god save you if you hear something wandering around nearby, because it sure as hell has heard you"* The backrooms have always had monsters and even if it’s better without them removing them removes part of what makes the backrooms the backrooms

This might be the best found footage video I've ever seen. It captures the solitude and loneliness of the OG Backrooms but it also includes elements of other aesthetics like Weirdcore or Dreamcore and doesn't just conform with being liminal. I'm not a hater of the current backrooms, but having no entities and seemingly only 1 level captures the vibe of "six hundred million square miles of randomly segmented empty rooms to be trapped in"

This is 10/10 backrooms content. It looks realistic, feels like the early 2000s, doesn’t have a lot of answers, the backrooms feel strange and unknowing, eerie, unnatural, no monster, no explanations, liminal, dream core elements like the words and the red squares, etc. I could go on and on of how great this is!

This video also has probably the most realistic looking shots I've seen in a Backrooms video, everything from the details to the scale of the rooms to the height of the cameraman, genuinely feels like it's real found footage, super immersive, and I love all the different creative areas. It's probably the only one production on the Internet that is so close to the real Backrooms... I'm totally impressed. So many details, so many uneven surfaces, so many dirt... that's truly so realistic. I'm begining to believe that you went to this place irl and you've recorded everything. Or you've created this video before it all started. Wow it looks as if the whole Backrooms universe was based on your work!

Also, as a person who makes corporate video professionally, the loudness of the buzz is EXACTLY what our microphones hear when the gain is improperly set (or set by an amateur). People forget how sensitive camera microphones are. We once had a refrigerator on set, you literally couldn't hear it in person but the HUM washed 25% of the dialogue when we brought it up in post. This should've been the backrooms video that went viral and started it all.
It feels like such a continuation of the original backrooms image because the scene at 1:19 where the original image is shown fits in so well. It's almost as if this video is the lost media from which the original backrooms image was screenshotted, and that's so creepy because it would mean that image hints at something much, much larger, and this video is the demonstration of that. You could take any shot from this film and it could be its own backrooms image with its own lore. I find that amazing.
The only issue I would have is in post-production. The voice acting is amazing, but at some points doesn't feel like it comes from the video (like how sometimes they're speaking during a cut between scenes). The title screens shown don't feel like they belong from the same tape as the rest of the video. And the red notation things past 16:06 are cool in their own right, but again, what would that be in this lore? a thing the person sees? something the camera does? something edited in later? idk.
But overall, what a stunning video, and I'm definitely gonna pretend like this was the original backrooms video, because it 100% deserves to be, and I hope it blows up.
    extra notes:
Sometimes I feel like the ambience should be quieter like when you're in a darker area
I love the idea of the fake sky / fake windows in different places, really emphasises the trapped feeling and the unsettling vibes (especially the city view at 26:23)
I love the computer elements like the paint frames at 14:43. Fits really well.

This is really good. It's great to see a video that stays true to the original idea of The Backrooms. Starting in the space from the original photo is a nice touch. The way the hum of the lights overpower your voice is really good. After all, they are meant to be loud. Loud enough to drive someone nuts. The fact that you are not trying to speak over the noise makes your video more authentic as you are essentially just talking to yourself whilst filming as It's not meant to be a documentary. I really felt like I watching a guy who suddenly found himself in a weird place and, the addition of weird anomalies and strange open spaces was excellent. Added a really eerie vibe. Also, no silly looking monsters....at last. Can't stand the addition of entities. They are not needed at all. It was also nice to watch a bit of footage longer than 10 minutes. I hope you make more videos like this. Loved it! You got yourself a subscriber.

I love the concept that parts of the Backrooms are just unfinished. Like half of a room just doesn’t exist. And whole sections of the map are mangled or missing. Really adds to the idea that the Backrooms are some deviated generation of reality that spreads almost like cancer.

He turns the original backrooms, which we only had pictures of before, into videos that perfectly represent how confusing and isolating this place is.

One of the better 'Backrooms' videos, though I'm a little iffy on all of the random furniture and appliances. Just a small personal nitpick though, but still, it's all very 'liminal', and does a better job of capturing the original feel of the Backrooms thats been gradually lost in the fandom with all the kids making up random 'levels' and monsters and entire human factions and settlements, mking the Backrooms into more of a videogame you get trapped in rather than a lonely, liminal hellscape with bizarre architecture.
Kane Pixels' Backrooms series is also great, and although there are other humans shown being able to go to and fro from the Backrooms, its handled about as well as you could hope while still making the place seem unknown, bizarre, and dangerous.
Another of my favorites is The Complex, a game available on Steam. The vibes in that game are nearly perfect and while there are some references to other 'levels', they are handled well (and just so happen to be some of my favorites, like the Poolrooms). There's also no crazy monsters constantly chasing you down. And don't get me wrong, I'm not 100% against having entities in the Backrooms, but I think too many fangames just shove them in your face and make them the main focus of the Backrooms instead of the endless liminal hell.

This is one of the best non-kane backrooms videos I've seen that captures what the backrooms is supposed to be about.
I dont mind the different levels that the wiki started putting together but at the same time I don't consider it to be the true canon as its lost what the original story was about.
It's not about biomes or entities; it's about wandering a vast, seemingly empty complex with strange architecture and empty rooms with the possibility of encountering an entity.

This is so well made. I think what really makes the backrooms creepy is the fact that you are supposed to be completely alone. I get why people would think entities would exist there too, but in my mind I think of reality having a copy of itself represented as the backrooms where pieces of normal reality just sort of fall into for whatever inter-dimensional reason, maybe even the effects of spaces currently unobserved by our best telescopes. Maybe a space so far away that our sense of sanity loses its meaning in the grand scheme of the totality of the universe, hence "wherever here is" and "no sense of time".
Anyway, the scenes in this and the portrayal are just downright bone chilling and inspiring. Truly a gem within this genre of the world of liminal spaces.
