      Just bought a Mazda. CX 5 2.2 tdi
      Best car we have owned so far.
      Great to drive, comfortable and certainly powerful enough for uk roads.
      Very comfortable quing at endless road works , lucky to get up to 50 mph in some places for a couple of miles.

      This is some bot generated hit piece. They complain about the infotainment's lack of a premium option, but ALL car manufacturers lack that. They ALL have horrible systems and force you to use them by no longer supporting the DIN/Double DIN standard stereo sizes have in the name of making an extra dollar.

      The CX 30 is my top contender in the beginning of my car shopping experience. I’ve been a Mazda owner for 24 years, but in the market for the first time for a compact SUV. The biggest concern from this video is the rear blind spot - as a driver of this car, have you had any issues with this?

    • @glurp1er
      @glurp1er Месяц назад

      @@ginas6971 Indeed, the CX-30 visibility is not the greatest (Mazda 3 is even worse in that regard).
      If you ever decide to buy the CX-30, I would strongly recommend a model equipped with the 360 camera, which works really well.
      If visibility is an important issue for you, I would suggest you have a look at the Suzuki S-cross (not as premium as the CX-30, but still a great japanese SUV).

    Own the CX30 auto AWD 2.0 non turbo 186bhp Skyactiv X. Great car, great to drive, incredibly safe, very reliable, interior is a fabulous place to be. Only negative for some would be the rear leg room escpecially if you're over 6ft.

    I test drove a new 2024 CX-30. The only downsides were the ride was a little rough and it was a bit small. The price and good enough Mazda quality are two huge benefits.

    I’ve had mine 2-1/2 years now. Absolutely lovely car . If you like all the fancy detail at the front and rear you get on Hyundai and VWs great. The simple lines on the CX-30 are much easier on the eye and to keep clean. This is the third Mazda I’ve owned. Build quality and ride far exceed competition.

    I have a 2023 CX30 GT Turbo and it's plenty quick. I don't use premium gas.
    One criticism I'd have is the doors sound hollow if you tap on them. I realized this when a stone hit my door on the highway - sounds really hollow/noisy - could do with some sound deadening inside the door panels

    respectfully i have to provide a fact check. the turbo 2.5 absolutely does not require premium fuel. the engine will have l more power with premium fuel , as Mazdas technology can differentiate between the two fuels.
    I know this because i habe a cx9 2021 with the 2.5 turbo engine, i currently have 70k on my suv and i do not use premium fuel. . mazda does not call or mandate the use for premium fuel.
    my biggest concern for the cx30 is where it’s manufactured and what countries many of its components come from.
    im sorry but a Mazda thay is sourced in Japan, and manufactured in Japan is considerably a higher quality .

    • @KhanDisco
      @KhanDisco 4 месяца назад +1

      He doesn't say you "have" to use premium fuel, only if you want the advertised 250hp. He clearly states without the premium fuel you will only achieve 227hp. And he is absolutely correct. I have a CX-30 Turbo Premium and it employs a knock sensor to tell what fuel you have to generate the additional output. So no fact check needed @tommulchy1 you just have to pay attention to what is said in the video better :)

    Yes the Mazda CX30 would be a good choice if you were needed a mid size sedan with a choice of Small Petrol engine or a 2.5 petrol engine, Mazda do make very good vehicles , I know this,as I have a Mazda vehicle and very pleased with it as I have always had it serviced by a Mazda dealer thank you ,Ted

      Mate, I gad a Hyundai Sonata 2.0l. Had it for 12 years. Most likely, the best car I ever had, in comparison to my Mercedes A180 AMG I had, I will buy a Hyundai anytime. Merc is not what it was years ago. Was a peace of junk. Gearbox sensors problems 3x in 3 years. Cost me $4800 every time to get it fixed. Merc is a total ripp off now. I now drive a VW Passat 2.0l TSi. Not a bad car but it has 229346km on the clock. About to buy a new car. Haven't decided yet. Won't be a Merc, BMW , VW or Audi.

    I bought mine about 4.5 months ago. Is it perfect? no. But most of your points are ridiculous. 191 hp is more than sufficient for a base model and is definitely not slow. It's not a sports car. You push for the turbo for its speed, but then complain that it takes premium and is thirsty. You also call the infotainment system outdated because its not touch screen and then say that touchscreens are more distracting. I would still prefer going back to the 20th century on this and having buttons and knobs for the stereo. As I'm playing songs on my bluetooth I would love to have easily available bass and treble controls. Remember when a song came on and you could add bass or treble with a flick of the finger. I miss that instant adjustment. Now its buried in a menu and you set it once and suffer with variations in different songs.

    CX30 is as big (small) as Mazda 3 although it looks bigger. I felt more closed in the rear when I tried Mazda 3, and chose CX30, but if there were Mazda station wagon, I would have chosen a wagon. I miss a car like Volvo 855, which had a spacious cargo room for relatively the same wheel base as CX30. It was also easy to put a bike on the roof rack. For CX30, you need a step stool. SUVs are space ineffective for the size.
