For anyone that doesn’t know: Brandon Sanderson the entirety of this book for free on his website! I read this book sometime last year and I absolutely loved it, like you I wasn’t expecting a lot from it bc most people talk about his larger series and not really about this book but man is it great, the plot and characters are so fantastic and unique and it’s something you won’t be able to put down until you’ve finished it!!
I'd love to see a full of spoilers discussion video about the stormlight archive series! I've just finished Oathbringer and I am dying to hear someone else's opinions on the series.
yall can come to my place for dinner. we will have chicken... or soulcast chicken which my wife calls tofu or ficken. im not sure about all that fancy magic poultry.
I just finished this, it’s my first Brandon Sanderson book and I immediately headed to Amazon to buy The first three Mistborn books. I’m now ditching all other books on my TBR (well, with the exception of Kingdom of Ash of course!) and I’ll be reading every Brandon Sanderson book! 📚📚📚
I’m so excited!! A box set of the first era mistborn books are coming today and they’ll be my first Brandon Sanderson cosmere books! I’ll have to read warbreaker next though!!!!
Warbreaker is actually my all-time favorite book! It a princess story with lots of action that’s also extremely philosophical. I’m so glad that you enjoyed it! I love the magic system and the politics, but honestly, the characters are the best part! The book is extremely re-readable too. Most of the plot-twists took me by complete surprise the first time, but in the times I’ve read it since, I’ve found so many instances of extremely subtle foreshadowing and quotables.
I cannot wait to get into Brandon Sanderson’s books. It’s nice to know he’s got a stand-alone I can jump into if I can get my hands on it. Great review! Also, Millie is so funny in the background! She just had to get that snuggle spot just right for herself haha 🤣
I've only watched for a couple months but its videos like these and the seasonal reads rundowns that get me the most. You've dragged me back to thirsting regular novel reading something I thought I'd left behind a while ago. Sanderson is at the top of my list of authors to read when I get the time. Warbreaker is the first on that list of to-read books.
i haven't read a sanderson book in YEARS and wow this review just reminds me how much i miss/love his stories. maybe i should consider warbreaker for my next fantasy book ....
I am reading The way Of kings right now.... Halfway done. and what can i say than thank you for recommending me this best book i am reading this year.... Brandon Sanderson is just soooo good author.. Loving this book so much
One of the coolest parts of the different POVs was that Sanderson did a great job subtly reminding the reader that there were things that the reader knows because of Siri's POV, that neither Lightsong nor Vivenna know yet. And vice versa.
this is the first bk i read by brandon sanderson n this makes me doubt every single one of his characters from then on...n man oh man those two plot twista that i didnt see them coming...nearly died of shock
I’m so glad you like this book! Omg I totally get the thing about how we form our opinions on side characters and I definitely fell for Brandon’s antics in this book 😂
I appreciate reviews from you! Hopefully you’ll do reviews on books you read during week days so it’s not repeat content from your weekend reading vlogs? 💜
Wit is in Warbreaker aswell, Lightsong summons him to preform a story for Siri! I think all his stories will probably be the key to what's really going on in the Cosmere.
Hi! I'm new in your channel. I just have to read Sanderson! I'm so intrigued by now!!! But honestly for a few minutes I did not listen to you 'cause your dog it's so cute!!! Okey, thank you and I will watch some of your videos! Kisses from Argentina!
Hi!!!!!!! I've been binging like all of your videos for the past 24 hours. I'm in this reading slump right now where I have no idea what books to read or find motivation to read and I hate this. So I have some questions!!!! ;) -how do you find motivation to read when in the slump? -I find myself buying a bunch of books and then never knowing where to start😂 how do you pick? -what are some young adult books you would recommend to a high schooler? (I have collected a list of books in some videos I find interesting, but I don't know if I will find motivation to read them. AGHHHHH. I can usually knock two books out a week and I haven't read in like 3 days. HELP! Love you so much. You are my bookworm inspiration! 💗
Hey! I saw some review saying Warbreaker should be read before Mistborn that it’s not as much dramatic as Mistborn is. So i ordered it but now i’m confused if it was go old idea
Trying to get into reading Brandon Sanderson, but I don’t know where to start, but I really like the idea of this one so maybe I’ll start with this one.
Idk about reviewing buuuut i would love to hear your opinion on "Revenger" by Alastair Reynolds. It's a steampunk sci-fi book, the plot is linear and you fall in love with the main female protagonist and you root for her with your entire soul. I really loved it and would love it if more people knew about it. I don't usually read sci-fi but this was amazing, i might be an inexperienced critic but i judge a book by its "put down factor". That is to say it took a few chapters to get me hooked, after which however, i couldn't put it down for 2 days straight. I assume you don't really read sci-fi but would looove it if you gave this one a read. P.S. I enjoy your videos a lot ✌🏼
Question: your pronunciation of the two kingdoms.. is that just how you read it or have you looked it up? If you’ve looked it up I’ve been saying them wrong 😂
A truly good review; you've covered all the points and features that make the book what it is - an amazing read! For anyone who wants to read the book, Sanderson also has an edition with annotations and footnotes by the author guiding you and breaking down the creative process behind his writing. He gives insights into the casts' motivations, how he developed the characters and magic system.
I just finished reading Dance Of Thieves via your recommendation. (It’s my first time reading Mary E. Pearson’s writing) And all I can say is MY HEART. How am I to survive the wait till next year for the sequel?
Jessa Arcila I’d never read any of Mary E. Pearson’s book. Dance Of Thieves was my first. And honestly, it’s said to be apparently set in the same world but I didn’t for once feel like I was missing previous information of some sort, the book stands very well alone. I plan to read the Remnant Chronicles next. I highly recommend Dance of Thieves, I loved it!
If you want an epic fantasy go with Way of Kings, if you want a steampunk gunslinging western go with Alloy of Law. You can't really go wrong though. :-)
Is this an adult fantasy? I am not quit sure.... Also any recomendetions? I am curving about a quality high fantasy stand lonely or a series, i dont mind thanks in advance
Faye M In my opinion, Warbreaker feels like adult fantasy, but I’ve seen it marketed as YA. It’s not that graphic, and two of the main characters are princesses who probably make the book marketable as a coming of age/ YA book. However, I would definitely consider it to be quality high fantasy based off of the world-building alone. Also, Sanderson gets quite speculative with both the dynamics of the politics and the characters, which you don’t often see in YA novels where politics tend to look like cat-fights. Anyways, just my opinion! Warbreaker was my gateway drug into high fantasy lol
All brandon Sanderson books are excellent, and the nevernight chronicles by jay kristoff are excellent but some people aren’t keen because of the writing style and the way he uses footnotes in the story. The gentleman bastard series by Scott lynch is so good too - it’s basically con men in fantasy and it’s such a fun read
Please do more standalone reviews much better to get more views also helps us know your views on the novel in deep dive mode. Just doing a review for a cluster of books doesn't give a very good idea. I like your analysis of books but I recommend moving permanently to a more standalone format and doing fewer videos of multiple books in same video
There are 4 main characters in Warbreaker, not 3. You said nothing about Vasher! Vasher is probably the most BADASS character Sanderson has ever created!
Well, I get he's a walking spoiler, but that doesn't mean he should be completely excluded from the entire review. Saying for example he's a mysterious character that is somehow connected with all of the other 3 characters would have been both accurate and non-spoilery at the same time. It isn't really revealing and it mentions him. Going an entire review without even mentioning Vasher and not even acknowledging him as a PoV character, i.e. saying there are 3 main characters instead of 4, does a real disservice to him AS a character. Yes, I am a fangirl and I want ppl to know just how Badass he is.
I personally found Vasher to be a good character, but not great. He was definitely a badass, but I feel like I've read his character before. I thought Nightblood was far more interesting, lol. He was an absolute treasure! And I really loved Lightsong and Vivenna as well. They were very unique :)
I love Vivenna so much, her growth in Warbreaker is insane. Loved getting to hear some in-depth thoughts on a Cosmere book, great review!
I'd love to see a full of spoilers discussion video about the stormlight archive series! I've just finished Oathbringer and I am dying to hear someone else's opinions on the series.
SAME. 100%.
yall can come to my place for dinner. we will have chicken... or soulcast chicken which my wife calls tofu or ficken. im not sure about all that fancy magic poultry.
You should search Shardcast on RUclips if you haven’t found it yet, they even do a podcast on the books
Yeah

Waow, amazing presentation without spoiling the story. You should do that more often.
I cannot wait to get into Brandon Sanderson’s books. It’s nice to know he’s got a stand-alone I can jump into if I can get my hands on it. Great review!

please do a spoilery review for KINGDOM OF ASH .
i haven't read a sanderson book in YEARS and wow this review just reminds me how much i miss/love his stories. maybe i should consider warbreaker for my next fantasy book ....

Hey, may I know how long will it take you to finish it? I heard it has more than thousands pages
Apparently it was meant as a standalone but the author announced there would be a follow up (hope it is the right word).
Mathilda is so cute in the background!
One of the coolest parts of the different POVs was that Sanderson did a great job subtly reminding the reader that there were things that the reader knows because of Siri's POV, that neither Lightsong nor Vivenna know yet. And vice versa.
Meanwhile around 4:53 to 5:29 I was distracted by that cute doggo. ❤️😂 What's his/her name?
Matilda!
Oh my God I was preparing for a cute dog but a pug was the greatest surprise...the cutest among the cute
I'm looking forward to Brandon Sanderson some reads.
Ur soo positive which makes me so happy 💛🌻
this is the first bk i read by brandon sanderson n this makes me doubt every single one of his characters from then on...n man oh man those two plot twista that i didnt see them coming...nearly died of shock
I’m glad your doing individual book reviews again!
I’m so glad you like this book! Omg I totally get the thing about how we form our opinions on side characters and I definitely fell for Brandon’s antics in this book 😂

Sa Lopes Warbreaker is where I started with Sanderson, and it’s definitely a really good place to start!
Same
I plan on reading his books too! I decided to read them by publication order so I will start with Elantris!
Hey I'm new into reading. Do you think Brandon Sanderson's books is suitable enough for beginners?
Idk about reviewing buuuut i would love to hear your opinion on "Revenger" by Alastair Reynolds. Another TBR for me!

If you want an epic fantasy go with Way of Kings, if you want a steampunk gunslinging western go with Alloy of Law. You can't really go wrong though. :-)
I really want to start reading Brandon Sanderson, but I'm not sure which books or series i should start with and which order
Do you have top rated reviews on goodreads? I see a Regan on all his books on Goodreads

"No spoilers". Video begins: "Yeah, there are some characters we see in the Storm-light Archives..." O_O ok then lol
Thas not a spoiler lmao
Is this really a stand alone orrrr?
I mean for nowwwwwww
Picking it up ASAP! Lol thanks
There is another book coming out... in the near future, date N/A, called Nightblood. :D
There are 4 main characters in Warbreaker, not 3.

Lost my ability to concentrate because of that pug in the background
Creative. But ultimately a book for 12 year olds.
lmao
@@Sebster85 Maybe rather 9 year olds.
