Love your process. I had the Same cutter, after a while of it making that noise, I discovered that the blade had worn through like half the screw holding it on.
Have a boutique July 13 with my SIL and have not made anything for it yet, was hoping I could come up with something that could be fast and easy and use up some scraps. Found this and coasters fit the bill. Thank you!

You could also make "Tea Wallets"; there are all sorts of videos on RUclips on how to make these...you could pop some single wrapped teas inside for your sale!

Could you use something else as a filling instead of batting? I am thinking old flannel layers, old towels, old t-shirts, etc.

I make similar fabric coasters, but I use just one plain charm square for the top to eliminate 'wobble' and uneven top...
