I love this ideal! ❤ I have a bunch of leftover scraps that needs to be sewn. I know the sun is bad and fades material but im thinking about sewing scrappy car seat covers. Yay
It does resemble falling rain, beautiful fabric combinations. It could also give the feeling of being inside a cavern with sparkling ruby stalagmites dripping down forming crystals at the bottom. This was such a good idea to use your pink scraps. Now if anyone has a favorite color...run with it!!! Summer Rain....ahhhhh how refreshing and delightful❤❤❤
Didn’t think I would like these colors together, but it turned out really pretty. The full view shows how wonderfully you combined the colors. Thanks for sharing.
I wasn’t really sure how much I liked the quilt when you showed the closeups of it. But then you showed us the distant view. Now I definitely love it. It reminds me of the beaded curtains that were popular a long time ago
This quilt is beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and design. I’ve been working lately on scrappy quilts and other projects to get the stash reduced and am so pleased with the results. It has been a surprise!
Ombre strips )))) EAsy, no thinking, just sew. I will do this with "single color" bins... or pairs.... hmmmmmmm. Good One!!! Remember to sew strips up vs down so they don't warp.
Beautiful quilt!!!!
Very cool, artsy arrangement! Love it!❤
I really think this is a Beautiful quilt.

I just remembered those formations coming down from the ceiling of a cave are called stalactites...but it does make a pretty picture, doesn't it?

I just LOVE this!!! I love scrap quilts. Hmmm, maybe the pieces you cut off at the bottom could become a pillow??

When you iron stripes, you can iron every other one out from the back
Absolutely LOVE IT!! Would love to see what it looks like after you quilt it. Have you decided on what pattern to use on the quilting?
I’m really bad about getting my pieces quilted. I’m sure some kind of bubble or drop looking design is what I’d pick.
I’m a procrastinator also in that area. I’m sure it will look great no matter what you choose. Going to attempt this next week. Fingers crossed 🤞 😊
I like it.
Ooh I bet with the part you cut off at the bottom you could turn that into a little pillow!
Buy a 4 ft metal ruler from the hardware store
Loved it (except the check fabric).
Your description sounds like a jelly roll race.
